03.01.2022 The month of Movember has ended and to celebrate the mighty Mo in all its glorious forms (and lesser ones) check out our photos of the RTL Movember team's effort on our Movember link below. Special thank you to everyone that has donated to this great cause with the RTL team raising $2,344 A couple of important facts:... (1) Men die on average 6 years earlier than women (2) The rate of male suicide is alarmingly high: 3 out of 4 suicides in Australia are by men. (3) 1 in 6 Australian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. (4) Testicular cancer strikes young, it’s the most common cancer in young Australian men What can we do: (1) Donate! Just because Movember is over doesn’t mean you cannot donate. (2) Get regular check-ups from your doctor no matter the age! if over 50 get a prostate check. (3) Keep in touch with your mates, family and friends. Ask them if they are OK and check-in. Men's health is in crisis.
