25.01.2022 One of the many things we have been doing over the last month at Huzzard Studios. We are now looking for your support with our push to find and transform other Perth City buildings, with a focus on the East Perth Power Station as a creative and community hub. Chris Huzzard Christopher Benson and David Broadway presented these to the Perth City Summit on August 19th 2017.... There is a video as well, the Music is by MEG MAC and we have asked for permission to use this, but not received confirmation. We love the song, "Bridges" and feel it is really appropriate to what we are doing. A video will be posted shortly as we are seeking permission again before making available via YouTube. #cityofperth #vibrancyvacuum #ideasenergyaction #eastperthpowerstation

18.01.2022 #EastPerthPowerStation update.. Minister John Carey contacted us today as he received the update from the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority regarding our stated interest in redeveloping (slowly) the Power Station to become a Community Creative Hub. We need to wait for the finalisation of the currently stalled commercial tender process, hinged on when Western Power is likely to vacate the site. If there is no commercial buyer we can begin the process in earnest.... There are some noted issues that require further exploration, but with the full support of the Western Australian community, nothing is impossible. I will be writing the to MRA CEO in the coming week to ensure there is knowledge of our formal interest and how we, from a community perspective, believe we will create something to rival other international Creative Hubs to benefit all Western Australians whilst maintaining community owner. Once again I am impressed by John Carey, a Politician that shows through action and engagement he is working for the people who elected him. Thank you Will keep everyone posted --Chris Benson

16.01.2022 OMG Coffee has now entered the last phases of being approved out the front of Huzzard Studios. It has been a bit of a challenge but the good things that happened are; 1. We learned a lot about the City of Perth approval processes. 2. On providing some suggestions to assist small businesses the City of Perth let us know they are in the testing phase of several initiatives to make minor development applications easier and faster. 3. We will soon have amazing Coffee and Toasties... right on our front doorstep - subject to these last approvals. 4. Coffee 5. Probably Coffee again! The Perth City Summit provided inspiration and John Carey gave us a bit of help along the way. We also got a lot of support from our landlords Momentum Wealth who worked with Global Premium Hotels to allow this to happen before the expected site redevelopment. Lastly, thanks, Al, the determined soon to be new tenant of 10-14 Pier St that navigated the application process.

13.01.2022 Added a 4000ws focusable strobe to the inventory at Huzzard Studios. We are looking into the uses of this light within the studio. It does create daylight at midnight in our natural light studios. It is available to hire in the studio for $110 per shoot to experienced photographers. Other conditions apply.

08.01.2022 So today we did a thing. We supported a long time artist in her first exhibition. The exhibition was one of love, not looking for any personal gain, so we offered our venue. The cause was one close to my heart, having lost our beloved Great Dane, Taya earlier this year. Danegels, run by Louise Joesbury, painted and brought everyone together for a beautiful afternoon at our Studio hall at Huzzard Studios.... Here are a couple of the images I took prior to the paintings being taken home by the owners.

08.01.2022 The Antari Ice 101 is a high volume thick and soupy fog machine. It can be rented for $50 per hour or $180 for a 1/2 day. Only a couple of studios can handle the volume of thick wispy fog this beast can produce almost without effort.

Please use the following social tags in ...relation to our Guest model; @ChanellMoso Chanell Moso - Model The Guest model is suitable for photographic and video projects / portfolio shoots of a Modest fashion, Fashion, Swimwear, Lingerie and Implied nude Nature. Pricing for the Guest model is made up of at least two parts. The studio hire fee will be not less than $60 and the Guest Model will be not less than $100. All engagements are for two (2) hours or longer. There may be additional charges for any shoots from the lingerie category through to Artistic nude, please confirm these with your Guest model prior to the shoot. 05.01.2022 John Carey called today about Huzzard Studios and RtWrks aspirations for the East Perth Power Station as the Primary Creative Hub of Perth. John Carey, the primary driver behind the Perth City Summit, is working on connecting all the "doers" interested and motivated to make Perth a Dynamic and Vibrant destination. RtWrks is waiting for another piece of the East Perth Power Station jigsaw puzzle before we can take the next steps, but no doors have closed and many opportunities... are opening up. If youre interested in being part of the journey, like and follow this page, we will keep you updated as things progress. We can only do this with the social capital of the Perth, Western Australia, Perth Fashion Festival (PFF) and like minded people. Are you Interested?

05.01.2022 RtWrks, through Huzzard Studios, are offering all unsigned and freelance models an opportunity to book a studio at the student rate for the month of June. This includes all weekends where studios are available. Simply book the studio in your name, request the student rate and provide basic details about your aspirations. ... Models are welcome to use the creative team of their choice. The studio is owned and managed by photographers, Chris Huzzard and Christopher Benson. David Broadway is also part of the management team.

02.01.2022 The next The Aperture Gallery event is on the Eighth of December at Huzzard Studios. We will be donating $500 worth of prints for Artists and Photographers as well as time and refreshments. If your an artist who has a print, or would like to create an image come talk to us, you will certainly get discounted studio hire and if we can we will donate that as well. Your image or art will be sold on the night, picked up 1 week later. ... We will be looking for a set of images, no more than seven per theme, to ensure the Gallery show the journey people with mental illness move through. More information about the theme will be posted on The Aperture Gallery on Sunday 6/11/17. The image was shot by Christopher Benson with AJ OMalley in the studio on November 5th 2017.
