09.03.2022 Yesterday was the Willowbank all bike day and Trevor & Shane flew the flag for Rubberband Racing Trev had the gremlin dialed in managing to take 3/3 race wins but not close enough to make a final, still a great day out! Shane, still testing Pure Evil since its had more goodies replaced this season.... hit and miss day but the bike has made full passes in anger, for the first time in a long time so happy to get it down the track. Was great to see some family there on both s...ides of the pit helping out Also good to catch up with a few mates whom I haven’t seen for a couple months - Trent. Managed to grab a couple videos during the day so enjoy a taste of our all bike day, 2020 (in the comments) See more

30.01.2022 Am home folks thanks for all the positi v e vibes.
25.01.2022 Some shed time spent last night to prep the bike for our next hit out - an 1/8th mile test day at Warwick Dragway on Sunday 26th. Still no spectators allowed at our events thanks to Covid but we’re getting a handle on this clutch so the laps for us will be useful. Trev will have the gremlin out for some testing laps too, working on some consistency and stringing a few good laps together. Stay safe Trent.
24.01.2022 Trent has had a crash at Willowbank today, I will update as I know. I’m on my way to the hospital,, please don’t message me... Danielle
18.01.2022 Back to the track yesterday for our remodel shakedown on the Rubberband Racing ZX14 Punisher. 1st passes out of the way and nothing fell off, bonus. A llama lol adjustment to chain and we went out and hit a 1.70 60 foot, a long way under our previous best of 1.85. We struggled for drive in the back half so will pull the clutch and inspect the plates. Back to STS Speed Shop for some clutch TLC and we’ll be back next weekend for QDRC racing return. The Gremlin had a hit and m...iss day out to the track but there were some good numbers at times so bike and rider will be better for knocking the cobwebs off. Trev is getting better on his lights and with some consistency will prove hard to beat at QDRC. He may or may not have something a little blue and fast lined up for the near future.... stay tuned. Shane’s Pure Evil had some real attitude of life the line in early passes showing strength in the new motor but some electrical gremlins saw it on the trailer earlier than anyone would have liked. Hopefully an easy fix but likely will miss the racing next weekend. Thanks to Simon and Buster for their help yesterday and again to Mick from STS for their help. Catch ya next weekend See more
17.01.2022 Am home folks thanks for all the positi v e vibes.
13.01.2022 Sorry it has taken me so long to put up an update but things have been very full on. Note: He’s not aloud any visitors not even me. Update on Trent He past his first cognitive test yesterday, the basic 12 question one. He has to do that a few more time and then pass the bigger test a few times and still get a MRI. MRI has been a problem doing because he is a little claustrophobic. He tells me yesterday that he’s ready to do it so they are just waiting for a spot to get it... done. He’s doing well and he keeps telling me he’s ready to come home.. Doctor said yesterday the earliest he will he out is late next week if all goes to well and he keeps passing the tests but will become an out patient for a while after. No driving for a few months and lots of trips to Brisbane for tests. Thank you to all the people who have messaged me to see how we are doing and to the people of have sent through photos so I can assist doctors while we are waiting for the MRI to be done. The photos have been confronting but have made me realise how lucky I am to still have him alive and with us... Danielle See more
12.01.2022 Trev flying the RBR flag solo today on the Gremlin. Out of the trailer and on the money
11.01.2022 Keen to get these bad boys back on track this weekend. #guiltybyassociation Still missing our Pure Evil but pilot Shane will be tagging along this weekend on crew duties.
10.01.2022 Good luck to Trev today for the QDRC at Willowbank. He’s holding 4th in the season standings and we’re hoping for some race wins on the gremlin zx10r.
07.01.2022 Oh the rain!!! We're hoping to get back to Warwick tomorrow for a test day on the 1/8th mile, hoping the weather holds for us! Trev will have the zx10 Gremlin humming and be searching for some consistant laps while the zx14 Punisher will be testing a new gearing set up and learning some more about the clutch.... Have a great weekend! Trent
07.01.2022 A big happy birthday to one of our fine supporters Nathan Jannusch from Unreal Plates. Hope you have a great day mate.

04.01.2022 Yesterday was our first Raceday for some time thanks to Covid. We were all pretty happy to get back to the track. With a fresh clutch pack in the ZX14 we were into straight off the trailer with 1.7 60 foot times. We’re still chasing the right setup for the bike but we learned a lot yesterday including our first 9 second pass With our 60 foot times coming down into high 1.5 second territory the pilot is getting the start line right. Only 1 win from 3 races yesterday but im...provements and time PB’s at every sector I left the track with a smile a qtr mile mile wide. Trev got the gremlin humming and consistency is starting to appear with 3 quali runs all in a tenth spread. 1 win from 3 starts on the green beast for Trev yesterday, his win coming against the last meeting victor so a good scalp to add in the collection. Shane on the bench this week, pure evil still has some electrical gremlins and didn’t make the trip. Not the most points earned, but good time spent with good people. See more
04.01.2022 This sucks but at least we know now. I don’t envy the board having to make the call. We still have our QDRC meeting this coming weekend so we’re still getting our fast on and pushing for some more 9 second passes!!!
02.01.2022 Yesterday Trevor Johnson flew the Rubberband Racing flag down at Willowbank on his own. Q1 was lost to the weather but a good light in Q2 meant Trev qualified in 3rd spot this earned him a bye run in round 3 of racing. Round 1 saw Trev’s gremlin up against the Harley of Steve Day. 10.2 dial gives the Harley a short head start but the Gremlin ran him down for a good win. Round 2 put the gremlin up against Matt Wilson’s busa. A wheel stand saw Trev chop the throttle and lose ...some momentum with Matt not surrendering the lead for a win. Matt went on to make the final against Tammy. Round 3 was a bye run because of the high qualifying spot and odd number of bikes in the field. Trev wound up the gremlin and found the edge of the traction resulting in a massive wheel spin off the line. But 2 wins from 3 rounds means a great haul of 18 points and will edge Trevor closer to the points leaders, and consolidate his spot in the top 5 which is great work in just his second year of racing. Photo credit to Dave at Drag Photos On a personal note please take a moment and hug those who matter most to you. If they’re not close by please pick up the phone. Keep well, keep safe. Trent
01.01.2022 Been a while but from mild to wild!
