24.01.2022 Special this week: Hard Rubbish Okonomiyaki! This week only were serving up these beloved Osaka street cabbage pancakes! A simple batter of flour and eggs is seasoned with dried fish and mushrooms and coats finely chopped cabbage and prawns. This is fried into a dense, crispy pancake which provides subtle yet solid backdrop for a hefty gang of flavourful toppings including Pickled Zucchini, Bonito, Otofuku, and the ever-popular Kewpie Mayo.... Hard Rubbish Okonomiyaki is here for a good time not a long time so get in quick! $15.

19.01.2022 Ladies and gentlemen. I draw your attention to this, our most popular waffle option at Rubbish Cafe. It is fried chicken on a waffle, covered in a smoky cheese sauce and jalapenos. It is, in a word, delicious. It is also an endangered species. As are all of our waffles. For Sunday the 5th of February shall be the last Sunday our waffle maestro Ox will be cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Rubbish Cafe will be switching to an all new and amazing menu shortly thereafter. So if youve never managed to make it down for a waffle on Sunday, you have two chances left. And if youre hopelessly addicted to them, go out and buy a pair of loose pants because you only have two Sundays left to gorge.

07.01.2022 HI AGAIN EVERYONE!!! Were back in action this Sunday morning with more waffley good times to be had! The regular line-up has been added to this week with a strawberries and cream (and chocolate!) waffle that is set to blow some minds, especially as it also comes in a vegan version! Pop in, say gday and fill up ya gob between 10am and 2pm Sunday!

We also have an avo smash waffle (which also has a vegan variety), a spicy chipotle pulled pork eggs benedict, and a southern fried chicken waffle with smoked cheese sauce. The very definition of "Shit yeah!" Come in and say hi!
