24.01.2022 I drink from the same coffee cup every morning. It’s my little ritual and it’s my favourite cup. My name is Ruby and I’m a Libran. Sometimes I get creative with oil paints. I love walking by the coast and also in the forrest. I’ve always prioritised movement. When I was 4 I started ballet, got pretty serious about contemporary dance as a teenager and even studied dance at uni (as well as a business degree). For the past 7 years I’ve been teaching yoga. I also love mixing it... up with high-intensity training, to feel strong and capable. I’ve always been drawn to massage. My first memory of receiving any form of physical therapy is Mum taking me to see someone to help me stop wetting the bed. I would’ve been about 8, I have no idea what type of practitioner they were. It didn’t work. But that memory has stuck with me. My specialty is deep tissue massage that is guided by years of body knowledge and intuition. I love massages that are strong, yet fluid and intentional. So that’s what I aim to deliver. You’ll always get a beautiful neck massage at the end of all my treatments. I live with my partner Simon on the Surf Coast (VIC) and I work in Torquay and Geelong. That’s me in a nutshell. Thanks, bye

21.01.2022 A reminder from Mr. Star Fish to slowwww down. Massage is a beautiful method of slowing down in a very tangible way. I love how tactile the experience of receiving a massage is: you feel the layers of stress slowly dissolve as your energy system switches gears from 5th down to neutral. Mmmmm delicious.

16.01.2022 Why do you get massages? I find people come to me for a variety of reasons: some with physical ailments, some in need of easing their stress, others who want to treat themselves and some who’s lifestyle is having an adverse effect on their muscular system. I love this variety. I always tailor my approach to each individuals needs then let my intuition guide me through the treatment. It’s another way for me to express my creativity, I’ve always had a creative side to me as well as a super organised/structured side. Finding work that allows for both sides to shine is super important to me and I hope it shows in my treatments. See you on the table soon!

11.01.2022 I’ve been keeping this news fairly quiet but I’m now ready to spread the news that I’ll be opening a small massage clinic in Mt Duneed! For my Geelong people this means you no longer need to travel to Torquay to visit me as the new place is only ten mins from Geelong city. For my Torquay people I’ll still be at the Jan Juc clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’ll be spending the next few weeks getting the room looking pretty and feeling cosy then I’ll open bookings!
