09.01.2022 Merry Christmas to you all for us personally this year could not have been harder, I don’t think there are any other spanners left in the box to throw, in fact it’s felt like the whole tool shed was thrown at us, one wrench and iron bar at a time. We’ve faced more this year than I would have thought possible to bear, and it’s remarkable that amid all of that we kept our humble little cafe bubbling away, and we were constantly bolstered by the succsess of the business, and ...the strength of our team, and the support of our community. If I’m honest I built the courtyard in order to get back to regular seating capacity for pandemic times but because It was also a way of channeling my grief working out the back and not having to see anyone. I’m lucky that I had that project, and I’m lucky that I have this wife, because she is the actual best. She truely is our fearless leader and she held it together for everyone. I am so grateful for every single team member that we have, I don’t know how we collected the very best but we did and they are all tiny walking miracles. And every single day our community has lined up out the front and patiently waited their turn to come in and support us and honestly the way you have all showed up for us is W I L D - we will never stop being grateful for every way you show your support whether you get a coffee, or a tshirt we appreciate you!
