20.01.2022 Following today's announcement I'm awaiting confirmation if rural Salons with shared entries can open Friday.... There have also been some restrictions applied, like masks must be worn throughout treatment- also going to get clarification on this rule for facial waxing etc. The next 24hrs will tell for Bendigo, our freedom is "pending" a recheck on fragment testing.... Fingers crossed!!

19.01.2022 IF i can interpret the Victorian roadmap out of lockdown correctly, we won't be reopening until at least the end of November..... As sad as this makes me, I'm also aware of the importance for these guidlines & the slow pace on reopening. A third wave of this incredibly infectious virus is not something any of us can fathom or want to face. ... Although not popular, I understand the need for this approach & am taking a big breath in an attempt to be grateful. X Please continue to like & share from this page, we've got a while to go

18.01.2022 With the cold weather setting in, Covid hanging around & the required social distancing measures we are all living differently So.... things are a little quiet for me at the moment. I have decided to change my days & hours to reflect demand. What happens now??... Mondays (Alternating with Thursday's) JUNORTOUN Tuesday (fortnightly)- SPRING GULLY Wednesday (fortnightly)- MOBILE - Hospital/Hospice/Nursing home visits. 15.01.2022 Reopening Friday Sept 18th I am so excited to be able to officially announce a reopening for my little business!! At this stage I am planning on opening Fridays only in my Homebush Drive salon. ... With services limited within the industry I have made the difficult decision to not return to my mobile sites as yet (hopefully soon!!) In cooperation and adherence to the new guidelines, please read through the following procedures implemented for myself and my clients safety in order to reopen: Appointments are open for regional Victorians only due to the current restrictions on movement. Procedures are limited to those I can perform without removing your mask, unfortunately this means facial treatments & most facial waxing are not allowed at this time. Since I have no waiting area, please remain in your car & I will indicate when to enter. Only the client may enter, any other persons with you will need to remain in the car. Please bring your own mask and it is mandatory that we both wear masks at all times. Leave all personal items not needed in the car, handbags, jackets etc Sanitise your hands on the way in & out. Anyone with symptoms of cold, fever or flu are asked to please stay home & reschedule their appointment. I don't mind if you cancel last minute during this time. Please be reassured that all equipment and surfaces are sanitised before & after each client with professional grade disinfectant. 13.01.2022 Following the Victorian Government announcements today, i will be unable to see my gorgeous clients until at least Mid September, probs longer if we can't get our stuff together Fingers crossed we are through this next lockdown in no time Stay safe everyone... Wear your mask Practice good hand hygiene Get tested if you are unwell Stay home & stay safe The sun has been shining, spring is coming & it always gives me a sense of hope- especially today when the world seems so dark Everyone is on the same covid roller-coaster, just riding in different carriages. 06.01.2022 This situation is possibly exacerbated by Covid I am assuming that today's announcements still refer to commercial premises only.... Home based was a hard no last week when no visitors were allowed, so I'm guessing only 2 adults allowed (regional) wont change it for me ... Still awaiting the govt websites to be updated, but for now I'm not stressed, I'm ok. I honestly think it will change with next Thursdays announcements & look forward to reopening at home soon! My visits to Domain & BRV can now recommence with all treatments. X

05.01.2022 Bad news I've called the hotline this morning. Its a hard NO on opening yet for Home Salons (regardless of separate building or entry). If not in a commercial premises you remain closed.... No people to our homes at all. Zero visitors, zero clients. Hopefully our restrictions change soon, but for now I remain closed for my home salon. For my Spring Gully & Domain clients I plan to play those days by ear. Currently I'm unable to provide treatments where a mask needs to be removed, so for now my visits to you are delayed. Not the news we were hoping for, but fingers crossed its short lived!!!

01.01.2022 Open, closed, open, closed... my heart!! For those following along at home, my salon (Junortoun) is closed again Turns out there was a wide spread misunderstanding about home salons.... The lovely man at the Covid hotline assures me I can continue seeing my clients from a commercial premises & THANKFULLY I am scheduled to return to my Spring Gully room next week (take that Covid & universe & anything else trying to stop me!!) So, for now, I am available every second Tuesday in Spring Gully. Services are still limited, but we are on the right track. Xxx

01.01.2022 SPRING This week would usually mark the beginning of my busiest time of the year I'm feeling sad & defeated today. As I'm sure lots of us are- It's a crazy Covid rollercoaster! ...
