22.04.2022 A few years ago, Ruby Ramos Designs was just a cover up for my growing craft hobby. I started with size 6 knitting needles( easy to use, I'm half blind) , and made a scarf, and then 10 more after that. When I needed a change, I found my old crochet hooks, and crocheted a doily.... and then crocheted baby clothes, booties and hand towels, and can't remember after that. And Dream Catchers!!! The loads of fun that went into making those beautiful things, are all my accumulated p...ersonal skills, amongst other good attributes :) When I had enough with the crochet hooks, I saw a pair of brand new nice looking pliers on my husband's bench. I picked it up, and wondered what I can do with it? One day when I was browsing something on the net about some arts and crafts, " I saw a beautiful hand crafted Semi-precious Gem Tree, and thought of what I do use those brand new pliers for :) From that day on wards, I have claimed my husband's pliers to start myself a new hobby. I bought myself wires and crystals, and practice how to make the best tree I could create. I started taking my creations to markets on weekend, rain or shine! But sometimes, family is much more important to spend time with and share some fun weekend!! I have a complete full house of 6 kids at home at this stage :) My family had been very kind and very much supportive of what I wanted to do. My daughters had been patiently sharing their technical knowledge, and my husband's secretly hiding his frustration with me, as I spent more time with my rocks than with him sometimes :) ( I think he'd say, most of the time now a days, actually :) After crafting crystals into trees, I went to semi-precious stone gem trees, made a fair bit, sold most of it, had given some for gifts, and kept some for home. This year, 2017, I've started making jewellery, and I'm enjoying it very much being at home while on recovery from a shoulder injury. I could have claimed for some work compensation, so I could just sit pretty and not guilty for not having any income coming in, but, " I am a survivor! And I believe Ruby Ramos Designs will get through smoothly to everyone, so come and try my creations!! Just try, you're not obligated to buy. But if you do, that would be great too :) If you don't like the product, you may exchange it or return it, if it breaks, and needs fixing, I will fix it at no costs to you.... if you have great ideas, or any questions, you're welcome to approach me anytime!!!
