23.01.2022 It’s almost Christmas, and we can’t believe how fast it came around this year. We are happy to announce that our Christmas products are now live on our website, ready for pre-order. This year we have limited supply for our Organic Turkeys and chickens, so be sure to order early to avoid disappointment. 22.01.2022 We will be offering West Australian Organic Fruit & Vegetable boxes as of next week. As this area is all new to us, we will be rolling out 1 seasonal box size to begin with and a limited amount for next week only as a trial. All details will be posted on our website tonight!

21.01.2022 Free Range Pork vs our Pasture Fed Pork So, what's the difference? Imagine a open sided shelter with a tennis court sized area to the back and to the front. Pigs are completely enclosed in this area. They are also given access to grain 24/7. Breeds are commercial varieties such as Landrace, Duroc and Large White. These breeds are fast growing, docile but have minimal flavour. Status on vaccines, antiobiotics, use of GM food or growth hormones is never disclosed.... Pasture Fed Pork Raised completely in open, lush pastures in Manjimup. They have no "shelter" so to speak and only use natural shelter such as trees. Pigs are fed once per day a mixture of hand selected oats, lupin and barley. They are fed onto the ground, meaning pigs get a small amount of this supplementary fed only. This encourages pigs to forage during the day following creek lines and finding grubs and roots to eat. This roaming also develops muscle which produces flavour. The pigs are 75% Berkshire which is a heritage breed of pig renowned for amazing flavour and muscle tone. Pigs are never given vaccines, wormed or given antibiotics. The property also never uses any pesticides. In summary if you want the most humanely raised and treated heritage breed pigs with amazing flavour, try some our pork today. The difference is like between night and day!

21.01.2022 We hope everyone made it through the stormy weather, here in Perth ok. Our dogs (not our children) kept us up all night, running up and down the hallways barking at all hours. 14.01.2022 **MANNING FARMERS MARKET CANCELLED TODAY** Due to the extreme weather predicted for this morning, we have been advised that the Farmers Markets at Manning will not be open today. It was very late notice (this morning) and we apologise to everyone who have already made there way down here. We too are very disappointed . We will still be trading at Palmyra Farmers Market tomorrow , and will now be offering up some great specials to compensate. We will post up details during the day .

04.01.2022 Just a few things about our Organic fruit & veg boxes: We dont grow the produce or pack the boxes at Rubys Organics. We have sourced a local supplier of organic fruit and veg that fits our business model. (As in they have the same vision as us, support local farmers, and are authentic about where their produce is sourced). We leave this area up to them, as they are the experts not us. Our area of expertise is Certified Organic Meat, which is the area we control 100%. Ou...r seasonal boxes will be delivered in a recycled paper lined produce box. To reduce our carbon footprint, its important to re-use the materials that are available. Please note: occasionally items (wet items that are washed before delivery such as vegies) will be packed in plastic bags. These are biodegradable bags OR bags that have come wrapped around produce we receive. They will be placed on top of the box. Alternatively, you can request your order to be packed in a foam esky or a fresh box, please contact us before ordering online. Our Vegetable only boxes will be available to order on our website from tonight, for delivery next week. Also, our Fruit & Vegetable boxes will be back up tonight as well. As we are trialling this new addition to our business, thanks to everyone for you comments and feedback which helps us to improve our business.
