11.01.2022 Evolution of a Sapphire - 25ct rough - 13ct preformed - 6.50ct rectangular cushion cut, natural-untreated golden yellow sapphire. Cut by Peter for a lucky couple who found it at a fossicking area near Rubyvale - on the surface - on their first day out!! Needless to say they were very happy with the finished product.

11.01.2022 Eureka! Peter found this massive 40ct blue sapphire in our mine yesterday. Rarely do we find them this size with a great shape for cutting and so clear. This sapphire is natural, untreated and even though it looks bright over the flash light in this video, it will show a deep, dark blue once facetted. Here's the dilemma...Keep it as-is to show it off as a specimen, sell it in the rough or cut it?
