22.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We hope you are all well and have coped with life during the times we now find ourselves in due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. As restrictions are starting to ease, we know you will be wondering what is happening for Toddler Gym. As things stand, we will not be resuming during Term 2. We will be continuing to follow government guidelines. As you are aware many of our volunteers and grandparents who attend with their grandchildren are identified as more vulnerable to t...he virus, so we will therefore continue to take a more cautious approach. At this stage we don’t have a date that we will resume, but will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed via email and our Facebook page. We’ve all missed catching up with you each week and we know that some of you will have new additions to your family. Congratulations to those families and we’d love to hear your news! We also welcome hearing from any of our families with news you might like to share with us. Stay well everyone and hopefully we’ll see you sometime this year. Kind regards, Chris, Kerryn and the Toddler Gym Team.
20.01.2022 Jess and Chloe were part of our Toddler Gym community for several years. We are saddened to hear of an accident that caused devastating burns to their little Gracie. We share our love and prayers with the Gardner Family and invite you to donate to them if you are able.
18.01.2022 In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the government’s announcement this morning in declaring a state of emergency under the Public Health Act, we know many families are wondering whether Toddler Gym is running, and if so, whether to attend. As sad as we feel in letting you know this, we feel in the interests of keeping everyone safe children, parents, grandparents and our volunteers, we are not able to offer Toddler Gym for the remainder of term 1. We anticipate this wil...l also impact term 2 either partially or fully. We may not be able to get back up and running until term 3. We are sorry for the short notice on this decision. We have been discussing, monitoring and seeking advice regarding this, but feel being proactive in minimizing social gatherings to be the right decision for us all. When Toddler Gym does return, there will be a reduction in fees to compensate for the two weeks missed in term 1. We will email and post updates on our Facebook page when it is considered safe to bring people together again. We thank you for your understanding and we will certainly miss seeing you all each week. Please stay safe and healthy during these uncertain times ahead. : Chris McMenamin, Kerryn Davies and the Toddler Gym Team See more

07.01.2022 Hello to all our Toddler Gym families! After 10 years of Toddler Gym each Tuesday and Friday of school terms, it certainly feels strange not being able to catch up with you all as we prepare to enter Term 2. We hope you have had a Happy Easter and have found fun things to do with each other at home. Have you noticed a number of teddy bears appearing in windows in our neighbourhood? These special bears are in recognition that Australian children have been joining a global bear... hunt, making walks around their neighbourhood lots of fun during the COVID-19 disruption to their school-term activities. People all around the world have been putting teddy bears in windows encouraging children to get outdoors for a walk with their parents while hunting for bears. The hunt is inspired by the children’s book, 'We’re Going on a Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury, in which the characters sing: We’re going on a bear hunt, we’re going to catch a big one what a beautiful day, we’re not scared. Perhaps you could go on a Bear Hunt or put some bears in your window for other families to see on their ‘hunt’! We’d love to see your pictures posted here to share with our Toddler Gym families too! Stay safe, healthy and happy everyone and we all look forward to being back together when we can. See more

02.01.2022 Hello to all our Toddler Gym families. After being closed for most of 2020 due to the COVID Pandemic, we are excited to let you know that we will be resuming in Term 1 2021! We will be offering four sessions each week, 9:15am and 11am on Thursdays and Fridays. All families who were enrolled in March 2020 will be receiving a 2021 Enrolment Pack by email next week, so keep an eye on your Inbox! For any families who were not enrolled in March and would like an Enrolment Pack, please email [email protected] and a pack will also be emailed to you next week. We are not taking bookings at this stage, but will be allocating groups in January after receiving enrolment forms.
01.01.2022 Hello to all our Toddler Gym Families, We’re writing to you in regard to Toddler Gym. Sadly, Toddler Gym won’t be able to resume this year. We have missed seeing you all during the year and catching up with your news! As restrictions start to ease, we know meeting in the large group that our program has previously had, will not be permitted for quite some time. We will be looking at lowering the numbers in each session along with restricting the number of adults able to atten...d with each toddler and reviewing layout of the room before we may be able to resume next year depending on government guidelines. So sadly, we won’t be sending out registrations for 2021 until we know more about how this might look. It may even be early next year before we are in a position to seek registrations and of course will start by contacting those families who were attending in term 1, 2020. Our intention was to offer a $10 reduction in fees to compensate for the final two weeks of term 1 that were cancelled due to COVID. Given we will now not be resuming in 2020, if you would like this refund of $10, please contact Kerryn by email [email protected] or private message and we will arrange a transfer to your bank account. Cash refunds will not be possible at this time. If you are happy for us to keep the $10 we thank you and appreciate your donation. On a brighter note, we are about to launch Spoonville at the Church! We would love for you and your family to decorate wooden spoons/lifters, etc. and place in our garden near the letterbox on Fulham Road. This is a great way of being part of our community even though we are apart! We hope and trust that you are all well and surviving the challenges of the tighter restrictions. We understand some of our families may be struggling and we hope and pray that you are receiving support at this time. Please feel free to email or private message through our Facebook page if you would like to share any news. We hope to see your Spoon People in Spoonville soon! Take care everyone and stay well. Kind regards, Chris, Kerryn and the Toddler Gym Team
