Belt tensioning (where applicable) & water management assessment Cleaning of all water distribution pipes & spreaders Why do Evaporative Air Conditioners require regular servicing & maintenance? Bacteria can easily grow in the water resovoir and on the pads. If the pads are worn or full of scale the cooling capacity of the unit will be decreased substantially. Faulty or worn components can result in further damage to the unit and possible leaks into the ceiling. Manufacturers recommend servicing at least every 2 years.
