19.01.2022 Hi everyone, It is now official, we will be having a 2020 season - albeit a shorter one. The season will run through August and September - 8 rounds. There is a fair bit of detail already posted on the ERJSA Facebook site, have a look if you are interested.... We’ll start training on Friday afternoons mid July I expect, stay tuned for more updates from me in coming weeks. If your child has already registered, you don’t have to do anything at the moment. If you would like to register your child to play, I have left the registrations open - see my instructions from a post in late January! Please do so by end of June so I can sort out the teams. There will be a ‘reduced’ registration fee - most likely from $100 down to $60 - which I will manage by a re-imbursement process rather than stuff around with the online system. I need to sort out these details in coming weeks. Exciting news, it’s great that the kids will be able to play some ‘winter soccer’ this year! Chris

03.01.2022 Starts this week!

03.01.2022 Lovely afternoon at Richmond Oval!

02.01.2022 Being involved in junior sports is always cyclical and this year we will see a number of people retire who have made significant contributions, not only their c...lub, but also to their community, the ERJSA and the sport in general. While the season has not yet ended, today we thank and honour one of these people. Chris Gwynne first started coaching at Richmond United Junior Soccer Club in 2005. He then spent the next 15 years coaching teams through all age groups of the ERJSA competition. In 2015 he became the President of Richmond United, a role in which he still remains. Not one to shy from a challenge though, Chris also took on the daunting task of President of the ERJSA from 2015 until 2018 and while he has moved on from this role, he remains a highly valued member of the ERJSA committee to this very day. 2020 marks the last season for Chris as he will be ‘hanging up the boots’ with his family moving to the warmer climes of QLD. In talking to Chris recently, he said ‘it has been a privilege to be able to contribute to organisations (like ERJSA and Richmond) that have provided the opportunity to so many children to experience the round ball game in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment. Let’s hope the organisation can continue to provide this opportunity to children for years to come.’. On behalf of everyone at ERJSA, Chris we can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for the children and the region. Your willingness to share your experience and knowledge has been very much appreciated by all those around you. We wish you the very best for the future and for the remainder of the season.
