The event connects school children from all over Australia via a livestre...am to perform the same song, on the same day, at the same time! Talented students from Rangeway Primary School, Beachlands Primary School, Allendale Primary School and Waggrakine Primary School featured in the official broadcast video. 19.01.2022 Local residents are advised they may hear a series of loud noises and see flares released on Thursday 19 November, as part of HMAS Sydney II 79th Commemorations.... At approximately 7pm, a large blank cannon shot will be fired as well as a display of multiple flares off the coast as part of the ceremony, supported by Marine Rescue Geraldton and WestCoast Fireworks This years’ service will take place in a digital format with a pre-recorded ceremony broadcasted here on the City’s Facebook page from 5:45pm.

16.01.2022 Hi all. As most of you know we had a rather significant fire last year in RUK. Our local fireys did an awesome job protecting properties and even joined us for our first meeting of the year before covid arrived. They are keen to work with our community to keep us safe and have thrown our residents an invite to join them this weekend in Waggy to ensure we are fire ready for this season. Inspections by the city should've been done by now but if you are concerned about any prop...erties around you that are vacant or deemed hazardous please call the Rangers at the city to let them know so that they can follow it up. A link will be posted below in the comments section to the CGG Fire and emergency page where you can find all your information regarding regulations, contact numbers, guidelines, firebreaks and plans. 07.01.2022 There is planned maintenance being done by Western Power today in some areas of RUK. Most of you have received letters and notices but some haven’t. Power may be off from 7.30am- 4.30pm. So have a cuppa, charge your phone and spend a day in the garden (Bunnings get a plant delivery on Thursdays) or get out and about if your not at work.
