Ensure there is plenty of water and encourage guests to supplement alcohol with water as much as possible review your emergency plan in the unlikely event of a medical call out or evacuation When the sun goes down theres still plenty of time to party under the cool moonlight so do what you can to make people comfortable and have fun!

12.01.2022 It’s our birthday! Rule & Co has just turned 4 and my goodness haven’t we learned a lot in that time... To celebrate, we’re giving you our 4 best tips for running a successful (and memorable!) event:... 1. Do your research Be very clear on what your objective is, get background information on previous or similar events and get as much data together as you can. 2. Plan, plan, plan! This includes setting your objectives, having clear + measurable outcomes, mapping out your timeline and schedule for booking key suppliers, bump in/bump out etc. 3. Communication is Whether it’s via regular team meetings, shared folders to keep event documents, project management software or email, communication between the team, the client and stakeholders is vital. Sometimes even if you have nothing to update, people just want to know they you’re on top of it and advise when you can give them more information. 4. Have fun! This is a must for us. It can sometimes be hard to find the silver lining if a delegate has been given the wrong meal, the AV equipment isn’t working, a delivery hasn’t arrived or the brief has changed at a critical point but we guarantee that everything runs better when you can find the joy in what you do... sometimes solving those problems that arise will give you the greatest sense of achievement and put a smile on someone’s face

09.01.2022 Our Founder Terri has been volunteering with Variety SA for almost 10 years and spent yesterday helping the team at their annual Easter Picnic at the Adelaide Zoo Over 1,500 South Australian children enjoyed visiting the zoo animals, hot X buns, Easter eggs, plus a visit from the Easter Bunny and the Variety Teddy (yes thats Terri in the teddy costume!)
