22.01.2022 Today I thought we would show the bedrooms , romance , comfort and space !! Each has its own bathroom and air conditioner. 11.01.2022 Today starts a very special time in Bali .... GALUNGAN AND KUNINGAN Celebrating the victory of good against evil... Galungan is a Balinese holiday which celebrates the victory of dharma over adharma (the triumph of good over evil). It marks the time when ancestral spirits of deceased relatives visit the Earth. The last day of the celebration is Kuningan, when they leave earth. The spirits of deceased relatives return to visit their former homes and the Balinese have a responsibility to be hospitable and welcoming to their past ancestors through prayers and offerings throughout their home. The most obvious sign of the celebrations are the penjor - bamboo poles with offerings suspended at the end which line the roads. We wish all our friends in Bali peace and happiness. 10.01.2022 Sitting at home thought I’d check what the week holds weather wise in Lovina .. so low 30’s for the next few days .. much better than than the wet 10 degrees here !! I’d love to be pool side at Rumah Santai

10.01.2022 Bali is introducing Covid19 protocols for the new normal. One new initiative is all accommodation must have sanitising station so all staff and guest can wash hands before entering. Great idea and we are onto it. We have chosen this lovely basin to be installed . Functional and looks great. Keeping people safe ..

Looks like the government is keen to keep Bali safe; if they do swab people it’s going to take a while to get through customs then I would hope that they actually do the tests and follow up if any come back positive .. but it may a be a step in the right direction to get tourists back to paradise https://coconuts.co//travelers-entering-bali-via-ngurah-r/

02.01.2022 1 year ago today wo were given the keys to Villa Rumah Santai Libur. Our small piece of paradise we wanted to share with many. Thankyou Dewi, Komang Dio, Putu and Kadek for looking after it so beautifully while we can not visit. We love our photo updates and hope soon we can once again visit and have guests .
