18.01.2022 Due to Victorias return to lockdown and the closure of some big end of year festivals and markets, Ive needed to update my workshop schedule. Only one workshop has moved to another date but Ive also been able to add new ones ! At this stage l am taking reservations to hold a place only, no payment will be required until closer to the workshop date JUST IN CASE we have our iso period extended. Workshops are limited to 4 people due to social distancing constraints and equipment sharing . PPE equipment will also be available for use as well as individual pieces of equipment that will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. 11.01.2022 Ive never participated in March meet the Maker so l thought it was about time l pulled the finger out and did so ! the aim is to post something every day about me and what l do ....hopefully its interesting and doesnt bore the pants off you all ! lol Day 1 - this is me, my brand , my business , my passion my self expression in glass and metal. Named for my 2 daughters, Ruby and Matilda, who are my drive and motivation when my energy is flagging and my hands are cut ...to shreds . Ruby is now starting to learn the craft and enjoys helping me out at my markets. Tilly likes to come and hang out in my studio and sort through my glass and pretty shiny things ; when shes a little taller Ill introduce her to the craft as well ( if she wants). They also come up with some crazy ideas of what l could make, and generally want one of everything that does get created Of course none of this would be possible without the unflagging support of my partner Michael and my Mum Robyn, both of whom help me schlep my stuff from market to market, festival to festival. Who encourage, admire and support my crazy ideas and schemes, who get dragged out of bed early and lift heavy stuff while occasionally throwing food and tea my way to help keep my tired ass moving.
