09.01.2022 Last weekend was the clubs Christmas bbq. Unlike many previous years, it wasn’t blowing a gale or pouring with rain (although we need it). Members thought this year that Cania Gorge Tourist Park was the place to be. It’s a great place to base yourself away from all the crowds. Saturday saw most going on a big drive out to Kroombit Tops national park. They went through the Razorback track and the 4wd loop to the bomber. These were relatively easy just dry and very dusty. Then... onto the lookout for some pics and back down into Cania gorge just in time for happy hour to start. For those that stayed it was a relaxing day spent around the pool with some exploring at the dam and Three Moon crk. The afternoon brought feeding birds and the little Dexter cows. There was nibbles and drinks before the bbq. Then more drinks and stories after. A great time had by all and thank you to those that helped. See more
