20.01.2022 Beautiful morning at the Rum Corps The course is in great condition if you are ready for a winter round!

10.01.2022 Last Wednesday afternoon I was working in the Pro Shop when a gentleman walked in and asked me if his friend, who was in a wheelchair, could hit some balls on the range. I told him it was fine and asked him if he needed to borrow some clubs and if so I would go outside and work out what length would be best for him to use (I hadn’t sized up anyone in a wheelchair before). So I walked out of the shop and came face to face (I am pretty short haha) with 25 year old Blake Leahy,... who has Cerebral Palsy (for those who do not know the symptoms of CP look them up). My first thought was how will this guy even swing the club let alone hit a ball, he looked so frail.....boy was I wrong! Blake had been down on the range for a little while before I had had a chance to look down and see how he was going. I watched him for about 5 minutes and saw that he hadn’t had one air swing and was hitting the ball mostly straight and pretty well. I decided to go down to the range to watch him and tell him how great he was doing. I then asked him if I could video him and put it on our FB Page. He was excited and said he would love to see his name and video on FB. So Blake here it is, I hope you like the video and what I have written.
