05.01.2022 The job of a 'halwai' requires a very high skill set. That's why many sweet shops in India are difficult to replicate, and everyone tends to have their own favourites, it takes immense dedication and patience to make many of the sweets they make. Our 'Macadamia katli' took a while to perfect, but now after we taste it, has the perfect crumble, sweeteness and nuttiness. Being a very oily nut it is difficult to manipulate with sugar, but once done you have a perfect sweet treat after the meal.
