With the Queensland Government confirming an easing of restrictions from tonight, we’re excited to welcome you back to Runaway Bay Centre to enjoy our full suite of retail, dining and leisure services, from 9am tomorrow, Saturday 3 July. ... Despite restrictions easing, we know it’s an uncertain time and the safety of our customers, retailers and staff continues to be our priority. NAIDOC Week 2021 reflects on the theme ‘Heal Country’ and, as part of Vicinity’s national portfolio, which spans across six states and 66% of the Australian population, we know we have an important role to play. Over the past couple of years, Vicinity has been progressing its Reconciliation Action Plan, acknowledging our curr...ent state which focuses on laying the foundations to promote meaningful change. Part of that journey includes cultural confidence seminars for all Vicinity employees, including those at Runaway Bay Centre, delivered by Indigenous engagement and inclusion expert, Johnny Briggs. We’re excited to continue working to create even more inclusive environment for everybody to prosper and enjoy.
