15.01.2022 The annual Ray Warwick Memorial Golf Day is coming up on Fri 4 Dec! RAY WARWICK, a family man and a very good friend, passed away suddenly on 18th May 2018,... aged just 44. His passing has left a huge void in the lives of many and we would like to continue to honor his memory. Off the back of 2 very successful events in 2018 and 2019, the organisers were determined to hold this event again this year, despite COVID. The Claret Jug is again up for grabs. Kim Warwick has decided that the Jack Beasley Foundation will this year again be the beneficiary of this event, as we not only remember Ray, but also Jack, whose life was cut tragically and senselessly short in December 2019. Jack was Ray's next door neighbor and he loved his footy, just like Ray. Kim is confident that Ray would be fully supportive of this chosen charity. 09.01.2022 McHappy Day 2020 This year is a very special year as we celebrate McHappy Day’s 29th Anniversary and aim to raise an ambitious $5.3 million on Saturday, the 14th of November. What is McHappy Day?... Each year, all McDonald's restaurants across Australia host McHappy Day, supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia. The event raises valuable funds to support seriously ill children and their families at a time when they need it most, through programs including Ronald McDonald House, the Ronald McDonald Learning Program, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms and Ronald McDonald Family Retreats. Who are you helping on McHappy Day? When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it impacts the whole family. Lives can be turned upside down. That’s why Ronald McDonald House Charities provide a range of programs to help families stay together and close to the care they need. This year’s fundraising goal equates to more than 33,000 days of supporting families in need, so you know you will be making a real difference. How to support RMHC on McHappy Day? Visit a McDonald's Restaurant on Saturday, 14th November. There are many ways to donate: $2 or $10 Helping Hands $5 Silly Socks $2 from every Big Mac sold on McHappy Day goes directly to RMHC 10c from every 600mL bottle of water sold goes directly to RMHC Show your support for Ronald McDonald House Charities by donating in the donation buckets or at a Kiosk. You can also choose to round up your order total to the nearest dollar at the Drive Thru, Front Counter and at McCafe.
