22.01.2022 Fathers Day Stall This years P&C Fathers Day Stall is a Covid-19 safe one, with all orders to be placed via FLEXISCHOOLS! Children can currently view the items for sale in the library window, ... and will have the opportunity to take a Wish List home. Be quick, as stock is limited! Online orders close at 9.00am this Tuesday 1 September. Items purchased will be delivered to childrens classrooms by 3pm Thursday 3 September. 21.01.2022 Term 4 End of Day Routine Please be reminded that Year 1 and Year 2 classes will finish school at 3:00pm. Students can be collected from the gates on Ardargie Street and from the Stop Drop and Go area. Prep students will continue to finish their day a little earlier at 2:45 pm and will still be able to be collected by parents from Girrawheen Place.

As we begin this week of NAIDOC celebrations, Runcorn State School would like to acknowledge the Yuggera people as the traditional owners of the land on which we learn and play. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. This year the theme of NAIDOC week is Always Was, Always Will Be. This theme recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years.

09.01.2022 Swimming Caps It is an Education Queenland requirement that ALL children MUST wear swimming caps during class swimming lessons. Children must have their own swimming caps and cannot borrow caps from others. Unfortunately, children will not be able to participate in swimming lessons if they do not bring their own swimming caps. The Uniform Shop is currently well stocked with swimming caps in the RSS sporting house colours. ... 05.01.2022 BOOK FAIR IS OPEN Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings to school the books students want to read. Its a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level.... This year we will be running the Fair a little different to past years. Students have viewed the books at the fair today, and should have brought home a Wish List. If you would like to make a purchase, details of how to do this is printed on the back of the Wish List. Online payments are preferred. Students will be able to collect the purchased books from the library. Please ensure that you fill in the receipt number and details on the back of the Wish List for your child to bring to the library to be able to collect the books that have been purchased.
