Great teamwork with Jake Shaw and Matt Hudson backing up from his 2km to pace, legends ... Next up NSW 3,000m, see you all there.

20.01.2022 5km 29:31 21:53 (7min 38sec pb) Jess Burke joined at Xmas, she's making incredible progress. The road to improvement is rarely smooth, it's easy to throw yourself a pity party when the going gets tough, but the champions roll with the punches. ... Great work champion, plenty more improvement ahead

19.01.2022 600, 800 and 1km Time Trials with @fryersrc September usually means 600/1200 Time Trials, but Covid presents athletes and coaches with unique challenges and opportunities to learn and surthrive. Very windy - the worse the conditions, the greater the skill component. They all went hard, not one complaint.Take control of your own destiny, no instructions, except have fun. ... Great to do this with the Fryers, the first of many joint sessions. @ottokhoo

14.01.2022 ANSW Cross Country Relays 14 teams this year from 5 teams two years ago. We had medalists from 10 years to 60 years. All inclusive, all ages, genders, abilities are embraced in our community and this event showcased it perfectly. From little things... It seems silly to single anyone out in a team event, so we won't. Well done to all our runners for getting behind team events, there's nothing better in this 'individual' sport ...

13.01.2022 As well as our 14 teams we had a heap of our squad members representing a multitude of clubs at NSW XC Relays. Whichever colours they wore, they got the same enthusiastic cheering when they ran through our fan zone. Drew gets to be cover boy because last night he was awarded the Young Coach of the Year at the NSW Sport Awards. Congratulations on the recognition, it's always enjoyable watching your enthusiasm for 'your boys' Fred Etter

12.01.2022 Congratulations to @rosieweber23 and @anne_mosso_moss - you’ve both scored a free pair of Nike Air Zoom Tempo Next % courtesy of @nikerunning. Thank you both for your positive influence at Run Crew, and cheers to Nike for the gift. Less rigid than our race-day shoes, the Tempo NEXT% is designed to help you get faster by bridging the gap between everyday training and racing.

In the 'men's' B race the kid Harry Halleen 6:11 showed the way ahead of his coach 6:13, Damien Simpson 6:24 and a blinder by Richard Zhang 6:45

10.01.2022 5km Time Trial, "PBs" all around. All executed perfectly with negative splits, even Bec, maybe there's some hope for Neil Pearson David Bell 17:25 (pb)... Marty Judge 17:26 (30sec pb) Rebecca Brown 17:47 (37sec pb) Yes, yes, you can only officially count times run on a track, in an official race, in legal shoes etc etc...but hey it's Covid, we'll take whatever we can. * Gore Hill Oval anti clockwise 11 laps + 150m @ Gore Hill, New South Wales, Australia

08.01.2022 Great day for the kids with 11 year olds Trent Alley in Newcastle and Will Kisby in Brisbane both running 1500m-4:37 to qualify for National U/14s next year. Both up against great frivals and fellow champions, well done also to Nate and Alexander! Meanwhile in Sydney, Alex Marshall broke prolific junior James Mathews 20 year old Inner West Little A's 12 years 800m record, with a blazing 2.20 on grass He's probably getting a bit too old to be called a kid, but pretty special... to see Jackson Sharp's racing go up a couple of levels. He finished 5th, 1sec behind Rio 5,000m Olympic Silver Medalist Paul Chelimo in USA XC Town Meet of Champions 8km. Play the long game, we're all better together, great running Kids...and Jackson
