23.01.2022 Sarah and her family including her mum Irma were the highest fundraising team last year for Run MND Central Coast. Irma passed away on Christmas Eve 2019. Irma’s wish was to donate her equipment to others battling MND. Sarah has managed to help three families who have taken Irma’s wheelchair, ramp, shower commode, and robot feeder, among other items. Sarah would love to pass on a chairlift to anyone that could use it - see pic below. There are also two toilet commodes - one is a foldup and one is not . 05.01.2022 Hello folks! We want to gauge the interest in a virtual run/walk for Run MND 2020. The idea would be to run or walk 1km for every $1000 we raise - with the run/walk to be completed throughout the month of November. Who’s keen? I know that I am in desperate need of some motivation to get me moving. Please comment below!

01.01.2022 The health and well being of our community is our top priority so we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year's Run MND until 2021. We can't with good conscience organise an event that would put people's health at risk - particularly those that are battling MND. We also know that people are struggling financially due to the impacts associated with Covid 19. We feel that this decision is the most responsible course of action. So what happens next? We propose that... all funds raised to-date are carried over to our fundraising tally for 2021 ($17,197). However, we know that times are extremely tough, so if you'd like your registration refunded, please get in touch and we will organise the refund through MND NSW. Unfortunately we can’t refund donations as tax receipts have already been issued. We are planning to have some merchandise for sale this year - which will still carry our major sponsors logos on the back - so stay tuned for that....and for details of Run MND 2021! #runmnd #endmnd #nowhiteflags #biggerin2021
