25.01.2022 Things are definitely looking up for this years Alpine Challenge with early bird entries currently open until 31 July, The weather is great for training at pre...sent, snow, cold sunny days - a bit of everything - seriously given last years conditions and the impact of global warming - anything could happen so get out and train in cold, wet windy conditions - get to know your gear and how you react to the conditions - and if we are lucky we will have a return to warmer weather. For 2019 we have introduced a new rule, based on feedback from international race directors:- Mobile Phones are mobile phones - they are not torches, compasses, spare maps - so be warned and make sure you have the right gear!
