If you'd like to go for a drive tomorrow (Sunday) to morning, then head out to the Rathdowney Country Open-Air Markets at Rathdowney Memorial Show Grounds and you'll find us there with our beef and pies for sale from 8am. 22.01.2022 All of our farm inhabitants including a magnificent Sea Eagle we spotted taking off from our creek this morning, are loving this beautiful soaking rain. Waterways have come back overnight that we havent seen in the property in at least 2years. The creek is having a much needed flush and over the next week will return to its beautiful clear waters. Bookings are happening regularly already for the year. If your thinking about a school holiday visit or a weekend dont be too slow at making your booking. June/July school holidays nearly booked out. 22.01.2022 Guest Review: Our super friendly and lovely folks who stayed at Running Creek Cottage over the last few days enjoyed themselves thoroughly, here's what they said... To get your best rates and book with us head to www.runningcreekbeef.com.au/stay... "...From the first contact with Debbie what a wonderful experience. We had 3 days at Running Creek Cottage and it was fantastic from start to finish. We met Deb at her farm to show us to the cottage for check in. Deb showed us through the cottage and showed us the workings of the place which came in handy. The kitchen was great and fully equipped to cook up a storm as Deb has thought of everything, the beds were comfortable and toasty warm, the fire in the lounge was great to sit near and watch a movie, the bathroom was decorated beautifully and the hot water was instant and a great temperature, the outside was great to sit in the sun and read a book, outdoor fire pit was also available. On our way to the cottage to check in we stopped at the Rathdowney Pub for lunch and like everywhere out there so friendly and the meal was great. We did the drive through to Kyogle on Lions Road which is a great scenic drive and took us back to our youth with the bell birds singing away. We had breakfast one morning at Rathlogan Olive Shed which is about 15 minutes drive toward Boonah and how good was that plus so many nice knick knacks to purchase. My husband did the walk around the farm to the top of the ridge and enjoyed it immensely. Oh, one last thing, we pre ordered goods from Deb from her own beef to goods from local area and once again not disappointed from her pies and beef and sausages yummo to the Elite Meats honey smoked cabana which made our eyes roll back in our heads it was amazing, Flutterby smoked tomato relish, Towri’s Eweghurt . Our order was all in the fridge waiting for us when we arrived. Deb and Rod are such great hosts and the farm is so relaxing; so go out for a few days and enjoy for yourself."

21.01.2022 A guest review from the weekend. It always warms our hearts that our guests, even if for just a moment, get to experience life on our farm and love it... 'We had amazing time. Deb is absolutely lovely any questions and she answers. We didn’t realise how much interaction we would have with the cows and horses. My little boy 14 mths loved feeding the horses and patting the cows we even met the famous #15 and his rough tongue. We will defiantly be back when it warms up to test the kayaks out. Thank you '

Here’s what Chloe wrote 'We had a wonderful time at Running Creek Farmstay. The cottage is lovely - well equiped, spotless, neat, comfortable and cosy. The working farm was fabulous to experience - walking in fields surrounded by beautiful cattle and horses. Spotting the train run through the... property was a great thrill and seeing so many stars at night a delight. The hosts Deb and Rod were very welcoming and have kitted the cottage out with everything you need - camping chairs, fishing rods, kitchen utensils and consumables, DVD movies, timber etc. etc. The creek was clean and fresh and perfect for a cool down. A great place to relax and enjoy the green rolling hills, the pretty creek, the friendly animals and the serenity. 13.01.2022 Can you see the train? We love having the interstate railway line through our farm. It's like having your own toy train. The drivers are lovely and if they see us or our guests will give a cheerful toot. If you love spotting trains then you'll love seeing the freight and people train's making their way through our property and behind the Cottage. Make's for fun viewing as the sun sets.

11.01.2022 It’s been so good to have the trains operating again. This was filmed just a couple of farms down heading North at Glenapp Railway Station (going past the Cottage). Glenapp was an original train stop and water refilling station. Rob Sibson (videographer) was a young boy in those days and his dad used to refill the trains from Running Creek. Now as a pure labour of love he maintains these historically important ‘stations’ (with permission) including Dulbola which would have been the next stop along. Thank you Rob for all your hard work and Merry Christmas
