18.01.2022 I want to send special hugs and thankyou to a special lady who was over the moon to maybe have a pup from the current litter. Who may not, in the end, have a pup because as a breeder I breed to get ever closer to the standard and try for ever better breed stock and May have to steal her puppy. Thankyou for understanding that I have to honour my choices. On a more hopeful note, at 2 weeks a lot can happen and final selection is not made until 8 weeks.

18.01.2022 Tallow (Misty x Mozart) is nearly 12 and doing great. However he’s become very very talkative in a very demanding way. I’m not sure what he’s trying to say or if this is just old age. Has anyone got any insights? This is him chilling with my 8 year old.

09.01.2022 This Marine and his Alaskan Malamute were on Iwo Jima . The Team were used to hunt out entrenched Japenese soldiers hiding undercover. They both survived. The s...oldier got a call from a delivery service advising him he had a package waiting. He went to find his dog waiting for him in a crate. At that time dogs were not released to there human partners. Great story with a great ending. Thanks for posting the picture Joe Fusco and this is why we stand for our Anthem with hand over heart !!!! See more

This post has had over 80,000 views and close to 1,000 shares! Unfortunately there are so many comments that we will not be able to reply to you all but thank you so much! We know Marley will be well looked after and hopefully we have found a few new foster carers in SA to help us continue helping Maremmas as we get so many surrender inquiries. AND FOR THE LOVE OF MAREMMAS- STOP BACKYARD BREEDING AND SELLING TO TINY SUBURBAN HOMES!!!!!!! Hi Everyone, We have been contacted about a Maremma, Marley, who is currently at the RSPCA. His mental health is unfortunately declining due to being in a kennel situation. This is no surprise as the Maremma breed does not do well in pound environments. Unfortunately, our rescue foster team is now down to 1 family. This means we are well and truly at capacity and cannot offer Marley assistance unless we grow our team urgently. We are looking for a ‘foster with the potential to adopt’ or at least an urgent foster carer to help Marley out. Current adoption applicants waiting- please feel free to contact us if interested Requirements to foster- -No young children (over 12, know how to interact with large breed dogs) -Large breed experience, preferably Livestock Guardian Experience -Large secure property or secure areas on property (large suburban over 650sqm) -Happy to take Marley to the vet (Elizabeth Park) if required/access to car (recue covers expenses of medical and food) -Happy to commit to some basic training and socialisation -Understand the Maremma breed and open to learning more -Social dogs only, preferably female -Preferably home more often than not Meet Marley! Please pm me if you can help.... Arna 6 years old. Enzo x Lady Lived with 4 cats for a number of years. Absolutely adore kids.

04.01.2022 Update on Lexa. Things didn’t work out with Akira and a strange(to Lexa) cat. She is now living with her cousin Tahi and loving it. Tahi is only 7 mths but is getting a thorough workout with managed downtimes. So proud of all you guys. For rehoming through me and for being willing to take on the responsibility of owning them.

02.01.2022 Ultrasound saw probably 6 puppies. Squishy balls in a movable womb. Hard to count. Day 38 so bigger than normal too.
