09.01.2022 Gratitude post: feeling humbled with the many messages of support I’ve received after my goal event, the Gold Coast marathon, was once again cancelled due to COVID this week. While I am disappointed for sure, I can tell you that more than anything, I’m grateful for being part of an incredibly supportive running community, I’m grateful to be able to run and to know I can just adapt and move my focus to another goal event. This pandemic has had significant and devastating impac...t on people around the world, so keeping perspective on the relatively trivial inconveniences it has had on my life is pretty important. Thank you to all who have messaged with kind words, thank you to everyone who has worked so hard in trying circumstances to organise events that have ultimately fallen through, thank you to the sensational bunch of runners I am privileged to call my friends keep running, and run happy See more
