23.01.2022 So what is Running Stars? Running Stars is a not for profit community running event focused on physical and mental wellbeing and encouraging a sense of togetherness. It is free to participate, meaning that it’s open for everyone in our community. This includes the young, families, the elderly and from the super fit, to those that aspire just to be fitter and healthier. Everyone is welcome and no one is excluded.... Running Stars will be held every Sunday morning with three distances to choose from 2.5km, 5km and 10km. Each event is timed and you will be able to compare your times from week to week and see how you progress. With your own personal Running Stars Tag ID Card, participants tap-on and tap-off at the start and finish of their runs thus obtaining individualised results. Participants will then be able to track their progression through our unique mobile app and via our comprehensive results webpage. So it really is as simple as registering once, obtaining your Running Stars Tag ID Card, turning up 15 minutes before the start time for a briefing, and then running your chosen distance as fast or as slow as you decide, you can even walk if you’d prefer. Once everyone has finished we’ll send out your official results and then all you have to do is come back again next week and go again! 21.01.2022 Firstly Merry Christmas to all our Running Stars and a massive thank you to everyone that has attended one of our events this year. Following today’s announcement on the extended restrictions over the Christmas period we are cancelling our Running Stars events on Christmas Day and Sunday 27th December. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2021... hopefully for a NYD special at 8am and then our normal Sunday run on 3rd January, we’ll confirm this nearer the time. ... Until then, Stay safe, Stay local, Stay merry, and don’t forget to tell your family and friends about us so they can come have a run with us in 2021, everyone needs a New Year’s Resolution after all!

15.01.2022 The temperature in the car said 31 degrees when we arrived, but with the breeze it cooled things down a bit. We had 25 runners today, lots of runner opting for a shorter distance than normal. Well done everyone for getting down there, and we will see you all next week. 14.01.2022 Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak on the Northern Beaches & following advice from NSW Health we’ve decided to postpone our Running Stars Curl Curl Santa Charity Run event for this Sunday 20th December. At this stage we still hope to have an event on Christmas Day (December 25th @8am) and our usual Sunday run (December 27th @7am) Stay Safe everyone!

11.01.2022 Tomorrow is the first day of December, and we are looking forward to the Christmas. We have setup a Xmas Bingo for anyone to join, you need to tick off a row or column, or go crazy with a diagonal option. 5 days ticked in a line gets your Bingo!!! For every line you finish, you get another entry in the prize draw (so 12 entries per person max) drawn on Sunday December 27th. As you can see we have 4 Running Star events at Curl Curl including Christmas Day, and a very special S...anta Charity Run to raise money for Royal Far West on Sunday the 20th of December (more details soon about raising money) Come and join in the fun. 03.01.2022 WE ARE BACK!! Running Stars returns Sunday 3rd January (tomorrow!) Only for those living in the Southern Part of the Northern Beaches, or those in Greater Sydney. We will have QR Codes at the start area for you to scan to help with tracing, and please remember to keep your distance from other runners. Will be great to see everyone again. Remember to bring your star card.... Also we are looking for Android Users to download a Alpha release of the App, so please email [email protected] if you are interested in helping out.

01.01.2022 Since the Manly Santa Sunday Session isn't going ahead this year, we decided to create a Covid Safe Tap and Go Running Event for Sunday the 20th of December via Running Stars Curl Curl.
