I know that pregame preparation is important, are there some tips you would like to give to any of our junior Runnin' Rebels players on how to get ready for a big game? JJ - One thing I like is to keep a routine. Something that gets me locked in. Making sure my pregame ritual is the same every time. I also like to warm up with my necklace on, which was a gift from a family member. Can you put into words how you were feeling after contributing to 2 wins in a doubleheader weekend? JJ - I’m glad we got those two wins, they were hard fought games. My focus now, however, is on the coming game this weekend against Brisbane Capitals. What was your favourite moment in the Pirates game? JJ - When my teammate Bailey Nwanevu blocked Tanner Krebs’ jump shot in the 4th quarter. What makes you proud to be a Runnin' Rebel? 09.01.2022 Our under 15s girls team recorded their first win tonight over the Saints. Tonight's game saw a lot of our players step up to fill roles they weren't used to. It was a nail biter all the way to the end, tied with 10 seconds left, Olivia made a steal and finished a layup at the other end of the court just before the buzzer! Our girls team is under 15s however they are competing in a under 17s comp so getting a victory in this age group is a worthy achievement. Thanks Tracey f...or the photos.
