25.01.2022 What a year, first the fire, then a flood, now we flourish! We didnt think we could cut hay this season but look at the beautiful bales Guy cut, the new machinery worked a treat. So thankful xx

24.01.2022 After days of fire preparation we took an afternoon off to look after the new calves. All 3 boys and 1 girl attended to and all behaved well. We also got to welcome Egan (little fire) today as he was born this afternoon from Ella.... What a day!

23.01.2022 100% Angus Beef raised on the green pastures of Egan's Farm! We are now taking orders for our mixed Beef Boxes. We will have 20kg beef boxes available for delivery in the coming weeks. All processed, packed in portions and labelled by our local butcher ready for your freezer.... Packs are limited so pm me for further details and to secure your box. Delivery available in the Eurobodalla, Shoal Haven and Illawarra.

16.01.2022 Its been a while since I posted on the Egans farm page and I think this was mainly due to our personal struggles after the bush fires. I spent the afternoon wondering around the property and looking at the amazing work Guy and his dad have done....yet again! The grass is coming back in a beautiful green, the cattle are settling down and not escaping so much, the fence rebuilding has started.... Maybe 2020 may get better yet!

16.01.2022 The girls enjoying the sunshine with their new neighbours. Let’s hope the reflective tape and smalller runs keep the eagle away. Lots more eagle deterrents coming after loosing one of the girls!

15.01.2022 On a rainy day we have kept busy making a River cottage special curd cake and baked rhubarb....just delicious !

15.01.2022 What a change from one day to the next. Yesterday the dam was calm and the clouds reflecting in the still waters. Today we have had a huge amount of rain and the dam is lapping at the road!

12.01.2022 Our 2nd flood this year. The 1st picture is Guy yesterday at the beach, the 2nd picture is the flood water covering the beach. The other pics show where the road was, its now under water and there is a lot of debris under there.

10.01.2022 Dont think it will be long before the green grass will come back. The girls are ready for a change from hay. Bring on some rain!

10.01.2022 No one would cut this tree down as it was so damaged from the bush fires, apparently it will ruin a chain saw. Guys solution.....burn it. Looks spectacular!

08.01.2022 Months have passed and the improvement to the farm is incredible, we still have a long way to go and lots more to do. Lucky Guy is very handy.

08.01.2022 Guy is fox proofing the free range area for the new girls, 24 of them arrived last week. The roosters enjoyed watching him work, handsome boys!

07.01.2022 The baby swans (cygnets) are growing up. The birdlife is returning to the dam!

06.01.2022 Winter with no rain is starting to be a problem, this dam provides water to the animals in the paddocks. Looking mighty dry! Before and after photo. We need a rain dance everyone.
