24.01.2022 Letting the Art and Yoga retreat go for this year (FAR too much happening around here) and replacing it with a one-day drawing and yoga workshop, on Sunday October 14. Posting the flier for the details, email or phone me if you'd like to come and have some fun with us.

24.01.2022 It's lovely to be back in business, now that I'm living up in Bulahdelah and have a lovely little hall in the village I can rent for art and yoga workshops and classes. So in January, three art workshops - two for kids in Bulahdelah, and a general one for adults at the Pacific Palms Surf Club at Elizabeth Beach. This time, I'll post some of the student's work. A 13- year-old did a very special drawing at the one-day workshop.

19.01.2022 Just in case you're a little puzzled as to why a Rugby Union clubhouse - here it is....a magnificent verandah to draw outside, and spacious inside for yoga and indoor drawing. Great parks across the road on the river for luncheon on the grass.

11.01.2022 another aspect to look at for the bathers series - I like it

11.01.2022 Here's where we were - in a beautiful light-filled room overlooking the beach. And participants working hard.....

09.01.2022 What a wonderful weekend of drawing we had at Elizabeth beach, and we even got some swims in. And as one of my new years resolutions was to return to the meaning of Rupakalaa (the beauty of art through yoga) in these workshops, I included a couple of open-eyed meditations for those who wished to participate. Both days produced lovely work - photos here.

08.01.2022 Thanks to Christopher Hareesh Wallis, a great theme from Classical Tantra for the start of the year's yoga classes: Doing your Yoga practice out of love for yourself, with a longing to know the truth, and to benefit all beings. The 'pure motive'.

07.01.2022 "Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old". Franz Kafka. And as my mum said, "..and better still to translate it into forms others can appreciate."

05.01.2022 It's time to revive Rupakalaa!!! (Again). Now living in the country, living my dream as the saying goes, and I've just finished teaching a 6 week foundational drawing course, in addition to the three yoga classes here in Bulahdelah. Next up is a one-day workshop to explore colour and compostion in drawing. And time to get back into the studio again - started working on a relief scupture that's been languishing for a long time (photo). Studio is a caravan at the moment, but it's roomy and comfortable for small works.

05.01.2022 Looking forward to tomorrow's start of the weekend drawing workshop at the surf club at Elizabeth Beach, Pacific Palms. Right on the beach, a big open and airy room with big windows, lovely group of people, how could we not have a great weekend?

05.01.2022 Great news my arty friends. Hurray - we're alive again!! It's taken a while to put this progamme together, but my friend and colleague Elin and I are very excited to be offering a residential drawing workshop in Bilpin in the Blue Mountains, in early March next year; one that marries our different skills and teaching experience in a programme that we believe is unique. It is unique because it offers tools that help us access the joy inherent in the act of self-expression, or ...move through blocks that stop us in our tracks. Or both!!! Because we have two days for this workshop, we're able to develop the relationship between art and yoga in a most beautiful way, and Elin will offer her mountain of knowledge of art history into the mix. Here is our flier (below) giving details for this drawing workshop. If you’d like to know more, please send Elin an email with your queries. (Address on bottom of flier) We hope this workshop will be of interest to you; alternatively, it would make a wonderful Christmas gift for someone who has an art practice. And please share this with other art practitioners, or post it on your Facebook page if it’s appropriate. We look forward to hearing from you. With warmest wishes, Christine See more

03.01.2022 Back to the bathers this year, although they've never really left. Lots of work to do for a show at Gloucester Regional Art Gallery at the end of the year.
