25.01.2022 Activate those glutes! Before training legs and especially before squatting I like to do this exercise to make sure my glutes are "turned on". Do 5 pulses down low in the split squat position and repeat 5 times per leg. 20.01.2022 Pre workout fuel Peanut butter, banana and honey on wholegrain toast + a protein shake is my go to pre workout snack. If I workout in the morning I'll also have a coffee with this. The combination of high glycemic and low glycemic foods along with healthy fats and adequate protein ensures that you are adequately fuelled to perform workouts without crashing halfway through. This is a pretty energy dense snack so I'd opt for something lighter if you were just planning a li...ght walk around the block but for challenging workouts this is the bomb If you have a sensitive stomach when working out or are doing cardio, I suggest leaving adequate time for the food to digest. #rlpt #workout #preworkout #trainhard

Try TABATA TABATA is a form of HIIT that is more effective at shedding body fat and preserving muscle than long slow cardio - think of the body composition of a sprinter vs a marathon runner... TABATA involves performing 20 seconds max effort of a cardio based exercise followed by 10 seconds rest I like to repeat this sequence for a total of 4 minutes each exercise and work between 3-4 different exercises. This is a total of 12-16 minutes of work which sure beats running on the treadmill for an hour. #rlpt #tabata #cardio #workout #fitness #airdyne
