24.01.2022 Its has been a quite tough for our community during the pandemic. Its more important than ever to ask R U OK? 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and circumstances have made it even more important for us all to stay connected and, for those who are able, be willing to support those around us. In the lead-up to R U OK?Day well help Australians know what to say when someone says theyre not OK and guide them through how they can continue a conversation that could c...hange a life. If you feel like somethings not quite the same with someone you know theres something going on in their life or you notice a change in what theyre saying or doing - trust that gut instinct and take the time to ask them Are you OK? If someone says theyre not OK, make time to listen, encourage action and check in. That conversation could change, or even save, their life. As local resident and advocate for mental health wellbeing Im here to support my community in my best possible way. https://images.app.goo.gl/LfmVD5Ec2Lz5MqMg8

24.01.2022 Being a resident of Frankston for over 10 years and working in the local community. #I had feedback from community that security and safety around Frankston is a major issue that needs to be resolved. #Plans to promote Frankston as a holiday destination to bring business, more jobs to town and getting better reputation. #Dedicated Fresh food market, a museum and art gallery which will restore towns history. #Expanding hall road, traffic lights to greenwood rd and Ballarto r...d intersection. #Council rates needs to be parallel to market growth, during this pandemic I would push council for rate freeze this year. #Sensible spending ratepayers money for better infrastructure. #better_frankston #vote1_rupinder_singh_ricky See more

19.01.2022 There is large demand by residents to give Frankston a face lift. If elected I will raise my voice for increased grants for small businesses to improve shops fronts throughout Frankston district. This will boost jobs in the area as well. There is large demand by residents to give Frankston a face lift. 17.01.2022 Vote1 Singh Rupinder About me: I am an Indian Australian, proud to call Australia my home for over 16 years , father of three boys living in Carrum downs with family for over a decade. My whole tenure in Australia I worked locally in Frankston area and know the geographic and people of my area. My kids goes to local school, play at local parks and we ride bike in local area that gives me in depth knowledge of local issues. I have diploma in hospitality and business management... and worked in hospitality sector for years, successfully managed a car yard for over 3 years. Im real estate investor and currently pursuing certificate in real estate. Being an active member of Multicultural community functions, voluntary relief work of Bush fire crisis, voluntary work for Covid support programme I am always there for my community and given my best towards people and society. My aim: is to make sure the money of rate payers goes to the right spending for our people and community, creating more job opportunities in the areas, we all have seen how unprofessional our previous councils have been in spending rate payers money in the past with no developments of area and no benefits to locals people I am pledging towards transparency, better community and better functionality of council. We are the gate way to Mornington peninsula and I am sure we can be the best tourist attraction place around Victoria but all we need is to give best to community and local people, I want everyone in my area to be a proud member of Frankston council. Please Vote1 SINGH Rupinder to give me chance to be your voice and support to our community. Areas of improvement in our council: ~Rates freeze in current situation. ~Support and promote local businesses. ~Increased support for mental health. ~Sports/outdoor gym/parks facelifts. ~Better public transport and connectivity. ~Safety and security of our community. ~More Community activities and functions. ~Restoring old heritage buildings. ~Tourist attractions by improvement of Frankston CBD.

16.01.2022 For better community health and engagements Im advocating outdoor gyms for wedge rd reserve, Sandfield reserve and additional gym for Langwarrin area (waiting for suggestions). Outdoor activities plays key role in community as it encourages people to stay healthy and busy parents with children can have a go at outdoor gyms while kids can play at the parks.

16.01.2022 local parks and reserves play important role in our community. Im advocating clean environment, planting more trees and Saving our reserves.local parks and reserves play important role in our community. Im advocating clean environment, planting more trees and Saving our reserves.

14.01.2022 The Committee for Greater Frankston is calling on the government to recognize the electrification of the Frankston to Baxter line extension as a project to boos...t COVID-19 recovery in the Frankston region. The estimated $500 million plus project, which has been recognised by Infrastructure Australia as a national priority currently has $225 million dollars of Federal funding allocated from the 2018 Federal Budget secured by Chris Crewther Former Federal Member for Dunkley. However the business case for this project has yet to be released, the final costing is unknown and has not been released to the public despite this being complete over 10 months ago. What do you think? Do you support the extension to Langwarrin or Baxter?
