23.01.2022 Sunday Feb 11th was the first North Maroochy Group training day for Rural Fire Brigade Volunteers for 2018. On the day, brigades organised a friendly competition to test skills, finishing in a team building bbq. Winners on the day: Valdora/Yandina Creek RFB!

Work with your local brigade and get a permit if you plan on doing some large pile burns to reduce fuel load on your property.

19.01.2022 A big Happy Birthday to our Second Officer Neil, the 'face' of our bridge for the Coolum fires.



17.01.2022 FIRE CALL this moring at Mt Coolum (the suburb not the mountain thankfully) with multiple spot fires along the beach front. We assisted Coolum Queensland Fire and Emergency Services - QFES and Bli Bli rural fire brigade to extinguish this fires. When we were leaving we seen this one had started to smoke again so a quick squirt and it was out. And the person on the hose our 4th officer Brian's birthday what a way to spend it

15.01.2022 A busy day for our brigade as well, it started at 5:45 with the first call to McCords rd, 8:30 a call to form another crew to go to Caloundra to assist, 16:00 call to leave Caloundra to assist crews at Peregian Springs and then home at 20:30. Another day helping the community.

03.01.2022 Great turnout at today’s Certificate and Medal presentation day at the Rocks Maroochy River. New members presented with FMS, FAS, Level 1 and 2 Chainsaw Certificates, also Congratulations to Scott Brook and Neil Bird receiving their National Service and 10 Year service Medals. Hopefully the first of many to come.
