03.01.2022 As we face a new day with fire danger, we are thinking of those in direct contact. Our thoughts go out to those impacted and our thanks to all those involved in the efforts to contain the fires. If you would like to assist we encourage you to donate to our Rural Relief Fund. The funds will be directed to assist those farming families who are hit by crisis and financial distress. ... All funds stay in Tasmania and we continue to collaborate with other service providers, charities and government to ensure support gets to those in most need. Donations can be made via our website, ANZ Bank branches or our office at 62 York St, Launceston. CWA Tasmania are also accepting donations on our behalf.

01.01.2022 We are heartbroken to announce that for the first time in the event’s 37-year history Agfest 2020 is cancelled in the best interests of the community’s health a...nd safety. After much careful deliberation weighing up the latest advice from health officials and the Tasmanian and Australian Government regarding containment measures for COVID-19 and the staging of public events, Rural Youth Tasmania and the Agfest Committee have unanimously agreed that this year’s event will not proceed. We can't wait to see the event back bigger than ever May 6-8 next year for #Agfest2021 See more
