18.01.2022 The fiasco in Melbourne means that many of our fellow Victorians are in another lock down. While we aren't under those restrictions, our local businesses still... need our support. Many businesses across Ripon, particularly in the hospitality and tourism sector, will feel the pinch with people not travelling from Melbourne and other states. During the statewide lockdown the community got around our local businesses and supported them through the tough times, we need to continue to do that now visitors won't be coming to our region. #riponhaseverything
17.01.2022 We welcome all the visitors to Stawell this week. Hopefully they saw something of the area other than inside the supermarkets!! Perhaps they could remember th...at people in rural towns also need to purchase food etc and leave some for us, not take it all back to Melbourne!! Also, brickbats to the bus companies profiteering from the current situation. See more
15.01.2022 This is not good news Thursday!! We have just been advised that the Stawell Times and Wimmera Mail have ceased production immediately until at least the end of ...the financial year. So, obviously those papers will not be delivered tomorrow. This is even worse news for the Stawell Times staff who have only just found out they have been stood down. Please share this post as much as you can, so everyone will know, and spare a thought for the staff who are affected by this sudden closure. Together we can get through these tough times. See more

08.01.2022 If you are self-isolating in Stawell township and would like magazines, puzzle books, exercise books, pencils, etc etc etc .. just give us a ring or email and w...e will organise an account, invoice the items at no extra delivery charge for this service, and do a no-contact drop to your house. We are still operating at the newsagency as usual, but do understand some people won't want to come out. We are only too happy to help as much as we can. Together we can get through this!! :-) See more
