24.01.2022 For those who may not be aware, Rusco Event Management is a Bronze sponsor of the Somerset Storm Netball Club and this morning I was invited to a special morning tea for all the Sponsors of the club. I have to say, that I am very proud to be involved not only as a sponsor but as a Mother of a player and also Fundraising Committee member. The new Netball club started early this year from scratch and had many hurdles along the way but they got through it with the drive and supp...ort from the local Community and members. I believe that they are bigger and stronger than any Netball Club I have ever been associated with. They are so committed, so organised, professional and their planning is outstanding. They care about the girls health, fitness, building their skill set and personal/sport development. The entire committee is open with their communication, work at a team, passionate and willing to give up many hours of their own time to build and maintain the Somerset Storm Netball Club. I put this down to their Leader - Megan Louise and the rest of the immediate management team. Amazing people with big hearts and focused on their goal. Ladies and Gents involved, you have put Somerset Storm on the map. Way to go. I wish you the very best for the rest of the year, and look forward to a huge 2021 with our Somerset Storm Girls.

17.01.2022 Yesterday I was advised that Anna from Travelling Foodies passed away earlier this week. Anna was a lovely lady. I feel very fortunate to have had time with over many years doing events and markets. Anna was someone that I relied upon and trusted when it came to seeking a 'market vendors point of view.' I often sourced her feedback and some direction on certain matters which I was very grateful for. We will all miss you Anna and our thoughts are with Michael your partner and family during this time. I will never forget you.

Last year I used similar at a Youth Week event and they were SOSOSOSO POPULAR - kids (AND parents/adults) had a ball. I would be happy to hire them out to those who would like them for their own events, parties, school activity days, kids and youth functions, or even just to have a weekend of fun with your own family and friends. ... 03.01.2022 Hello Everyone from Ruth, Rusco Event Management and Paul, Paul Plant Horticulture. Together we are the Plant Expo. Paul and I created this event with the in...tention to try and get people back into their gardens after the 2011 floods. Years later we still have the same passion. We created our first event in Ipswich and then moved to Doomben Racecourse on the northside of Brisbane, held a Spring edition Expo at Brookfield Showgrounds on the westside of Brisbane and now, because we like to share the event around, we head to Rocklea Showgrounds, Southside of Brisbane, to also share the message again about the importance to get back out there into the garden. This is the time in the current climate to learn what plants are best for our SEQ climate and encourage insects and wildlife into your back yard. For the first time, Brisbane Garden Plant Expo will be holding a Twilight Gardening Experience at Rocklea Showgrounds and we would love to see you there. We never forget about our young people - awesome kids zone with hands on, educational activities. Nothing like this has ever been seen before.
