06.01.2022 Dear Clubs & Associations, Please be advised that whilst the State Government has lifted some Covid-19 restrictions in NSW the current changes to these restrictions do not apply to sporting organisations and therefore the previous correspondence from Council still applies. Hopefully in the next few weeks we might have some more favourable news in regards to easing of restrictions for community sports, but in the meantime this is what it means What does this mean?... Until such time as sports have a definitive* return to play date, all clubhouses and associated amenities will be closed. This means there will be no access permitted to anyone, including those holding keys/swipe cards, for any purpose. Regular Council cleaning services will be suspended until further notice. Outdoor maintenance activities such as mowing are not affected by this decision and will continue as normal. As we become aware of any re-commencement dates for sports we will progressively lift the closures of clubhouses in order to allow preparations for your revised seasons and reinstate regular cleaning programs. The sports grounds themselves do remain open for recreational activity and exercise, strictly in line with government protocols however. *please note: definitive means that Sports have received confirmation the NSW State Government and NSW Health to return to play. We thank you all for your understanding and compliance so far around these measures and will continue to provide further updates as the NSW Government continue to assess and re-evaluate current Kind regards, Jenny Jenny Stephen Sports Liaison Officer
