21.01.2022 "Oh What a Night", wow we had 35 people, mentees, mentors family and friends at our latest Rush activity on 19/9/2019, what a great night at Gateshead's Spring Loaded, the young people absolutely loved it, along with 21 pizzas and 16litres of soft drink, all went home full and sugared up :)

19.01.2022 After quite a while we are starting to update the Rush webpage, been a while to say the least, keeping the same colours etc but content will change and images (photos) etc will be updated, eventually we hope to have some stories etc posted, thank you Michael Sheridan for your assistance

12.01.2022 The Rush Mentors and their Mentees will be sleeping out again this year in the cold to raise vital funds for Soul café. The Soul Café does such incredible work caring for their guests. Please show your love and support and sponsor the team! Much Love!

09.01.2022 Wow on the 9th May we had our biggest and "best ever" Boats and Biscuits event, sponsored by Lake Macquarie City Council, with an attendance of 65 people it was tremendous, the aim of these activities is to give the young people in our program an opportunity to experience something they may possibly never be able to do. Our very special thanks to Grahame Prosser, Scott Fairweather, Mark Drayton and Andrew Piggott, without your generosity with your time and vessels we could not stage this event, and a special thanks to Andrew Burrows for his awesome trailer and barbecue rig that kept all fed, we even had cheesecake this year, h yeah we did have fruit too :) and last but not least thanks to our wonderful dedicated mentors, without you Rush does not exist.

08.01.2022 What an awesome day, the last combined activity for Rush Mentoring Hunter, at TreeTops Minmi, a few statistics, 25 Pizzas, 32 litres of soft drink and a great group. We were well looked after by the team at Treetops, thank you from us all. Courage was tested, but confidence increased as our young people overcame their doubts in themselves and flew through the trees, walked along bridges you only see in the movies way above the ground, zipped along flying foxes, well done to our adults too who did what they would never have dreamed of doing, thank you for watching over these special young people.
