05.01.2022 IMPORTANT The future of the Rushworth Easter Heritage Festival is at risk . As you all know the festival is Rushworth’s biggest event bringing much ...needed tourism and money into our community. Without it Rushworth would suffer a MASSIVE loss. Sadly, that loss may be a reality. While super rewarding and fun, a lot of work goes into planning the festival. Months of work in the lead up, an extremely busy day, and then more work after the event. It’s just too much work for such a small committee (5 of us) and minimal volunteers on the day. We all have work, study, family and businesses to run. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Please join us at our crisis meeting on 7th December at 7pm at our shop (35 High st, Rushworth). The amount of support we get will determine the future of the REHF. The outcome of this meeting will see our upcoming AGM being an official nomination of people into committee roles or it will be to discuss the folding of the festival and distribution of funds.
