The extent of these fires is horrific, saddening and ongoing. Each of us here have been touched in one way or another with the ongoing bush fires and PPG is committed to ensuring the safety and health of its employees and their families. PPG offers a free and confidential Employee Assistance Program which is also available to employee family members. PPG will support employees who volunteer for the RFS, CFA, SES and RDF with fully paid leave for volunteering during this fire season. PPG has a history of supporting disaster relief around the world and we will donate $50,000 USD ($72,432 AUD) to the emergency relief efforts of the Australian Red Cross. PPG has committed to matching employee donations up to $25,000 USD ($36,193 AUD) for a total contribution of $75,000 USD ($108,580 AUD). Locally, the Australian team is working with retail partners to establish and support a long-term community rebuilding program for affected areas, and hosting additional fundraisers at various PPG sites. While bushfires are not unique to our region, this has been an unprecedented fire season. Thankfully, all of our employees and PPG locations are safe," said Michael Sparrow, managing director, PPG Australia. 08.01.2022 Facts on Bumper Colour OEM bumpers often dont match the rest of the vehicle and at some point, most shops have had to answer the question Why? to overcome th...eir customers concerns. There are 4 basic reasons why the colour may differ: 1. A colour can vary depending on the substrate on which it is painted. For example, metal vs. plastic. 2. The body was painted separately from the bumper, at different locations, using a different application method. 3. Slight adjustments can be made during application which may cause the metallic or mica to lay down differently. 4. Light reflects differently on curved vs. flat surfaces causing the appearance of a colour shift.

Thank you to our members who have fought along side us to make this happen, whether it be hosting members of Parliament or supplying information to us and the ACCC, this new law is the result of unprecedented industry cooperation. We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud of the enormous effort from everyone. This new law will make it illegal for car companies to withhold information from qualified independent mechanics keeping the cost of replacement parts, vehicle maintenance and repair affordable.
