16.01.2022 Just finished three big cats cross body bags. These bags have an embroidered flap, a large zip pocked at the front, a small pocket inside and an adjustable strap. They are $40 each plus $12.45 tracked postage. Can do a DD.

08.01.2022 Retreat Update. Due to the current ongoing situation with the Covid-19 we have postponed our New Zealand Quilting Retreat next February until February 2022. To take its place next year we will be offering a Quilting Retreat to Cairns QLD from the 27th June 2021. This retreat will comprise of six days of workshops, eight nights’ accommodation at NOVOTEL Cairns Oasis Resort, eight full breakfasts, six lunches, one dinner and welcome nibbles. We will be running this retreat on... a smaller number of participants than we have in previous years. Teachers for this retreat are Christine Dowell, Brenda Burges and Dorothy Clee. Workshops to include Flipin with Brenda, fabric dying/printing and free motion quilting with Chris and raw edge applique and thread painting with Dorothy. The cost of this retreat is $2250 twin share retreat only. Single supplement available. There is also an option for pre and post retreat accommodation at the Oasis. Kits will be available for the workshops. We will also have a Mystery Workshop where the kits are provided. These pictures show some of the workshops offered. 05.01.2022 Butterfly Cottage and Crafts had a lovely 2 day workshop with Brenda Burgess from Flip la K presenting Flying Geese. We will be organising another workshop with Brenda later in the year.

05.01.2022 We will be holding two 3 day retreats with Brenda Burgess from Fliplak the first week of September. The retreat will be just out side of Tumut in a beautiful country setting. The retreats are limited to a maximum of 7 participants at each workshop. Brenda is a wonderful and vibrant tutor. She will teach you a great method of creating a 'Storm at Sea' quilt. Alternately you can bring fabrics from your stash and Brenda will take you through the steps to create your own one ...of a kind quilt. The 3 day retreat, with lunch and morning and afternoon tea, is $250. The first one starts on Monday 31st August and the second one on the Thursday the 3rd September. We have limited accommodation available however, Tumut is a short drive from the venue and accommodation can be arranged.
