I am constantly amazed by the lack of skill in the basics... assessing students who have extraordinary fan bases on Instagram yet cant... actually stand on one leg or execute a tendu correctly... unfortunately, seeing the long term roll out of burnout and failure to progress into a fulfilling career gets more and more painful to watch when it happens over and over again... young students need to look at where they actually want to end up, look at the path that those before them have trodden, and chart the course most likely to achieve the success they desire... https://www.dancemagazine.com/instagram-dance-2585216791.ht

03.01.2022 RUSSIAN CHOREOGRAPHIC ACADEMY These are some of the treasures given to us by the Kirov Ballet dancers. when we were invited to Leningrad (St.Petersburg) in 1973. These shoes were given to us by the very great dancers, Yuri Soloviev and equally great dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov. Having been fortunate enough to be in Soviet Russia and to be able to see at first hand the incredible Vaganova training we became inspired to be able to provide this training to Australian students. Over the last few years we have brought 12 excellent Russian teachers to RCA who have passed on their incredible to art to our students. We have endeavoured to provide our students with Russian ballet trained by Russian teachers, all graduates of great Russian schools
