Our awesome team of passionate skiers, snowboarders and party goers were racing their socks off and winning RUSS their first VICIVs trophy since 1998, it was truely a weekend to remember! This year, due to the circumstances, there was no VICIVs. Richard (our president) has wisely run away with the trophy, and naturally, we at RUSS, have proclaimed ourselves champions in 2020 CONGRATULATIONS!!! ... On a serious note - We look back on the memories of previous VICIVs fondly, and look forward to the next years of VICIVs eagerly. In light of this success, weve decided to host a "Happy Hour" each Thursday at 8pm! (the traditional and ultimate uni night)... 15.01.2022 Prior to the deposit release (6pm this Friday) we want to put emphasis on a few details for the trip! 1. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 the mountains arent run...ning group lessons as of yet, private lessons are still available. However some of our members have agreed to help learners, and with a community of new skiers, there will always be friends at the same level to ski with, dont be afraid if your new to the art! 2. This is typically advertised as our main trip for those new to the snow, but that does not mean its the only trip your welcome at if you are indeed a begginer. Anyone at any level is more then welcome on all of our trips (except VICIVs), so if you cant make this one or miss out on a spot dont worry, its not the only chance for you this season! 3. If you miss out on a spot at our lodge but still wanna shred with us on the mountain, we encourage you to grab some pals and sort out your own accommodation for the same dates. We will constantly post and update our whereabouts during the day so you can join our skiing groups and take part in the fun. Sadly we cant have you join us in the lodge but catch us on the slopes. We would encourage this for all of our trips if you miss out!! Thanks

With this in mind, Jack and Luuk took it upon themselves to introduce some good exercise into their weekly routine, ensuring they stay physically and mentally healthy. Join them on their adventure to the local park, where they explore some awesome, easy, home exercises that help maintain the leg and core muscles that are essential to snow sports.... Get around RMIT Sport, they are doing some awesome work during the lockdown to inspire everyone to #GetRedBacktive. EVEN MORE IMPORTANT!! At 12pm on the 12th of June, we will be releasing deposits for our first trip of 2020 - Beginners!!... Taking place in Hotham from the 17th to the 19th of July, this trip is always a good time for all members at all levels of expertise but is especially welcoming to newer members and those new to the art of skiing/snowboarding . Make sure you save the date and let your parents know that your spending that weekend taking lessons and enjoying sessions! Now obviously, due to the current pandemic, this trip and future trips may run a bit differently this year. Its unlikely we can organise carpooling and lodges may have reduced numbers. But worry not good folk we have a refund policy that ensures you get your money back if we cant go ahead. After some strange months, we are looking to get back on the slopes and back into action.
