24.01.2022 You might see these on the weekend !! These designs were ordered by my friend in Fremantle who is building a light box behind then fitting LED strip lights to highlight my signs. !!!

24.01.2022 A new Sign for the Rust Art Mobile Recreational Unit ( RAMRU) for short.... I tried to incorporate all my favourite things. A good running dog, bugler, tree and the Maggie. !! At the Nannup Flower and garden show this weekend you will NOT... see this sign. Just have not quite got my head around drilling holes in my beautiful ute.... perhaps next month...

23.01.2022 Ok... so how cold is it in Nannup. ??? The car said 1 degrees when pushing through the forest at 6 am.but I did not believe it !! No wind and blue skies. It will be a beautiful spring day today.

23.01.2022 Ok.. so being Fathers Day this Sunday I am posting a classic car each day as a salute to classic dads. !! I may run out by the weekend.... Saturday may be a 95 Hyundai excel... but still a classic. !! :)

He did not try again but dropped a barrage of bad language. !!! Sorry big fella

17.01.2022 I think I am going to go more into the metal jewellery side ... this classy number can be worn clubbing on Friday night but also subtle enough for church on Sunday. !!! 17.01.2022 Happy fathers day to the dads out there and a big thank you to the mums that stand beside them. This is my card from a special little girl. She captured our orange cat perfectly. !! Not sure bout the poo.... Looks like its going to rain all day here- really need to get out and find some dirt. Maybe mud !!

15.01.2022 Last week was very strange. Lots of different things happening !!! Signs, flowers, fire pits..... then finished the week with a nasty cold- guess I needed a rest. !! Lol

14.01.2022 Tomorrow.... Busselton rotary markets is one of the last before Christmas. !!! Last minute bespoke pieces finished and packed. The weathered Rust Art staff are kinda ready.... Being a small business with limited stock available I can only ask my visitors tomorrow to be patient and if they see somthing that they like, then go away and think about it..... 13.01.2022 Ok... so I did not really want to make cars.. not that I dont like them they are great. Shiny noisy, whats not to like. There are just too many models. But. I prefer the beautiful lines of a bird or a happy dog ( have you ever seen a sad dog ?) Anyway... here we are with a few more models to follow.

08.01.2022 Next weekend is the beginning of the Nannup flower festival. Weekend 1... and these guys will be there. !! For both days over the weekend we will have a small display in the Main Street.

08.01.2022 Today at the Manning farmers market. We have kookaburras on posts and long stakes, new additions to the jewellery range and lots more.... till 12.30

07.01.2022 One of the cool jobs I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to do. At the Farm museum there is ( as you would expect ..) lots of old things. The new peg boards were prepared with external paint and the tools grouped and wired in position. Wonderful part of our south west history proudly on display. Hey.... speaking of display :) This weekend you might see an interesting phenomenon........ a Rust Art back to back, A double header.... Saturday at the Nannup flower and garden festival then Sunday at the busselton markets. 2 days.... 2 opportunities to see whats new. !! See more

06.01.2022 Was asked on the weekend again if the birds on the Plough disc bird baths actually scare off real birds. ..... Umm... not these cheeky little fellas. !!

06.01.2022 This Saturday is our perth trip to the Manning farmers market. From 8 until 12.30. Farmers Market on Manning Will have limited stock as just one vehicle but if anyone wants something specific thrown in, please let me know and I may have one in my shed.

05.01.2022 Day 1 at the beautiful Nannup garden and flower festival.. Has been quite an adventure already. Bush walk yesterday and lucky to spot a bandicoot and possums. !! Then an early start and all ready for the show. !!! A shower of rain already to test the integrity of my bird baths. :)

05.01.2022 Had the best time in the shed this weekend with this little kid.... Made this hammer holder on the new bench.... when finished I said... . I think it needs some FUNK. !! .... then off she went...- through the scrap pile while I got the glue ready !!! All from recycled material. My shed needed this. Was looking wayy too sterile, cold and impersonal.

04.01.2022 This weekend is the beginning of the Nannup Flower and garden festival !! Now a stretched out event over the next 6 weekends. We will be having a smaller display on the grass right near Melo velo. The same ( Nannup ) rules apply for this weekend..... dress warm , pack a brollie and perhaps Wellies. !!!! Lol This tree heart is new and will be available in a couple of sizes. ... Hope to see you there. See more

Saturday at the bunbury markets, Sunday will be the foreshore markets and with limited stock may be best to be early !!
