25.01.2022 Contemplation.......tomorrows wall at Birchgrove Public School....
24.01.2022 Big big day of painting today at Forestville Public School....The wall incorporates the sunset as a promise of a new beginning...the water is symbolic of the students journey of learning..water starts as a small trickle and grows to open to the expanse of the ocean.... The cockatoo reflects that each day the school has then flock to the school grounds.....and the leaves are reflective of the schools grounds and the large trees that are part of it ....Now for a relax down at the beach.....
24.01.2022 Happy Fathers day to all the dads out there....special mention to those dads not able to see their children for what ever reason....Also a shout out to those dads who have lost a child and to those who have lost a father.....Being a parent is tough, being a father is tough, I always found it hard with so many expectations on who you need to be...just be the best version of yourself.....blessed to spend some time with my father, children and one of my grand daughters today....
23.01.2022 For the Aboriginal Community in the Playford area I will be facilitating a chat and art workshop looking at mental health next Friday.... A good opportunity to sit together and talk about our own experiences with mental health and how art can support you on your journey..... The workshop is being delivered with Creative Therapy SA for the City of Playford https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/mental-health-and-wellbeing
22.01.2022 I really enjoy drawing on the IPad...obviously it doesnt compare to getting markers and paper out and drawing on them...but it is really easy and convenient when on the road....
21.01.2022 Great day today at North Strathfield Public School in Sydney....kicked off with a smoking ceremony and cultural dances, then I spent the day talking with students, storytelling, talking about artifacts and answering students questions....in between I painted their rain water tank with their hands to acknowledge and represent this moment in time where they are here.....The tank sits amongst work that I painted in July this year...and will culminate in some additional work in 2021....

20.01.2022 Nice wall to start the week off.....Weather has served up a warm one at Wynn Vale Community House Kindergarten.....The wall brings together the waters of the Wynn Vale Dam and the gathering place with students and teachers together sharing and learning..the centre piece representing nurturing growth...

The work represents two hands grasping/embracing this moment in time...the significance of this is to remind us that we cant change the past..the future will happen however we need to embrace this moment in time as we only get it once... A gathering place where all people belong and have a place at the circle .. with didgeridoo players welcoming people.....Singing and music has echoed across these lands for thousands of years and music is universal in the telling of stories that contribute to closing the gap of cultural divide.....

15.01.2022 Trinity College Gawler OSHC all finished....big day with an early start but really happy with the result.....the wall represents 3 gathering places...the significance of this is that OSHC is a resting place between school and home.....

09.01.2022 Painted at Burraneer Bay Public School in Sydney today.....just a hop skip and a jump from Cronulla.... The wall represent the earth we walk on, the ocean which is just down the road from the school....the sunset to represent the end of the day with the promise of a fresh start and new sun tomorrow....the boomerangs represent coming back tomorrow with a clean slate.......... The rain water tank represents a meeting place on our journey with the two pieces of iconography representing nurturing and growth and opportunities....

09.01.2022 Painted today at Fowler Road School, Merrylands in Sydney.... The main wall represents a gathering place with the green section representing the tracks to signify the the journey that students have taken to be here....one Aboriginal students hand is in the centre to represent the people who walked here before us the blue water represents a growth journey for the students.....the side wall incorporates student hand prints to represent that they are here now in this moment in time....
08.01.2022 All finished at Renmark Primary School OSHC....the wall represents the river, the land and the sunset....the white symbol is from a student idea which symbolises that the flower is supported by the ground to stand tall and grow...this was tied back to how she felt the oshc supported her to grow.....

06.01.2022 Painted this yesterday and finished the stairs off today after running some workshops with students...... It is a Birchgrove Public School in Sydney....the wall represents the emotional and physical journey that children are on...It shows that on our journey we work with others and those around us uplift us and ground us to keep us on our path....The flower design signifies hope.....the school has possums around the place so I incorporated one in the stair area.....
06.01.2022 Brisbane airport tonight and then fly back to Adelaide tomorrow....straight back into work on Thursday and Friday..... Lots of Free Post Cards ready to go out when I get back to Adelaide....

03.01.2022 Weekend is in sight....busy couple of days...Workshop yesterday at Uraidla Primary School ready for mural painting...and today a workshop for Playford Council....Off to Renmark on Monday to workshop with the OSHC and then paint a mural over two days and on the way stop at RAMCO Primary School to run a workshop ready for their mural to get painted...
03.01.2022 Sheds are finished at Wynn Vale Community House Kindergarten....the centre faces towards the Wynn Vale Dam and the wall reflects the water with a fish and turtle.....1 wall to go....

03.01.2022 Design ready to go for a mural at Renmark Primary School OSHC this week... Workshop with the young people tomorrow afternoon to design iconography that will be painted in to represent their centre and what it means to them....
03.01.2022 Today the workshops at Stradbroke Primary School with the 4 year 2 classes we looked at the significance of our hand as a way of marking our presence and our attachment to a place if it is marked there.....in the same way Aboriginal people have left hand prints at sites for thousands of years.......
02.01.2022 Completed mural at Maddison Park Primary School...probably one of the most challenging surfaces I have ever painted on....with a 5cm corrugation it was very testing.... The mural represents what the students overwhelmingly said was the thing that made them feel connected to their school and made them feel like they belonged.....Friendship....the symbol in the middle is to represents people having freedom and space while doing things they enjoy doing with their friends....the symbol at each end represents the caring and friendly bond between a group of friends....Between the middle and each end is d large symbol created to represent that it doesnt matter if you come in different sizes, shapes and colours..what matters is that one act of kindness that could get you a new friend and you can be friends with anyone.......
