25.01.2022 I tried a few different ways of doing the eyes and nostrils for Trigger today. They are just tacked at the moment, but I think we have a winner with this layout. Hoping to have her finished tomorrow.

22.01.2022 ‘Trigger’ is finished and will soon be heading to New South Wales. This piece was based on one of Cowboy Cattle Company’s young heifers called CCC Trip the Trigger, using photos they provided as reference (thanks again Alison!). She had quite a different face shape to Miss Annie, which I don’t think I would have been so aware of if I hadn’t had the opportunity to make the two pieces back to back.

19.01.2022 After a few weeks of high stress, with Charlie just being the tip of the iceberg, I’m (we’re) taking a few days to go off grid and do this. We’re leaving my oldest in charge at home ... and head off wondering if they’ll get up to the same shenanigans I did at her age when my parents left for a weekend. If we get service I’ll pop in and say hi from wherever our boots have taken us.

19.01.2022 Playful Pup fully cut out and tacked together.

17.01.2022 Made for the owner of a Percheron/Tb cross called Hugo, this is the 4th large breed piece I have made. Hugo has been made the same size as the others and can be adapted to have feathers instead of hooves too. #availablebyorder

16.01.2022 Back from a great few days away off grid with great friends making great memories .. featuring 4x4ing, muddy puddles, swimming cars (), spontaneous accidental midnight swims, mud covered children and dog, campfires and tall stories, new dent to car and did I mention muddy puddles? Hope you’ve all had a fantastic, memory filled, weekend too! Feel free to share pics of what you got up to.

16.01.2022 Made from repurposed steel racing plates, ‘Family’ will be heading off to a beautiful family in the West Australian wheatbelt.

14.01.2022 It’s been a long time since I’ve last made a Playful Pup, but he is coming long nicely. The first time I made this guy he ended up in Idaho USA. This time (once finished) he will be heading to Queensland, Australia.

08.01.2022 It’s blurry and fuzzy because I didn’t want to disturb them, but I just had to share it. The swag is set up to dry and air out after the wet weekend away. These two love being in it together and they absolutely melt my heart!

08.01.2022 Yep! Mumble and improvise on the bits you don’t know, then belt out the few words you do know.

04.01.2022 Love Charlie Mackesy!

04.01.2022 ‘Macey’ was finished today and is currently getting a few coats of clear sealant. I’m told the sign will have a temporary stay in WA before being sent to New Zealand. Very exciting for me as it will be my first piece in NZ! And enjoy a series of pics where Shilah lets me know loud and clear that one good photo is enough .. now it’s time to pay attention to her!

01.01.2022 Such a horrible tragedy, but what a beautiful way to remember her. Full of life and doing what she loved.
