15.01.2022 As we ease restrictions, we must avoid complacency. Maintain physical distancing at all times, practise good hygiene and get tested even if you have the mildest... symptoms. From Friday, the following will be allowed in NSW: Outdoor gatherings of up to 10 people Cafes and restaurants can seat 10 patrons at any one time Up to 5 visitors to a household at any one time Weddings up to 10 guests Indoor funerals up to 20 mourners, outdoor funerals up to 30 Religious gatherings/places of worship up to 10 worshippers Use of outdoor equipment with caution Outdoor pools open with restrictions
14.01.2022 This time last week we were on top of the world after being awarded the great honour as #1 Winner of The Brides Choice Awards for the Western Sydney Venue - Unique . We came crashing down from celebration to commiseration at lightning speed. As we found ourselves fielding a flood of calls from our couples who were frantically trying to find new dates to avoid cancellation of their special day due to this virus that is sweeping through the world. It's impossible to comprehen...d what can happen in the space of 1 week . Our time now is spent desperately scrambling to save the weddings of our beautiful couples who have their heart set on marrying at Australiana Pioneer Village. Before it ceases operating as a wedding venue from Jan 1, 2021. After that, the chance of being part of this iconic venue's history is gone forever . So we are are doing everything we can in our power to make this happen. The last five days have been nothing short of horrific. We understand that the uncertainty is nerve-wracking for you. For so many. Ourselves included. So if you’re in a position to postpone please choose this option over cancelling. Whilst it's still not ideal for us and our vendor partners to be dealing with the a huge influx of postponements at once with emotions running so high and all the extra work juggling around other bookings. But it may mean the difference between a family being able to pay their bills this week or keeping on their staff members on for another week. It means we know we have work coming and hope to hold onto for once this is all over. At the moment we are all heartbroken for our beautiful couples, ourselves and our industry mates, who we love like family. By changing your date but staying with Rustic Weddings Sydney , we promise to create a day that is beyond your wildest dreams. To create that fairytale moment at a venue that is unlike anywhere else on earth. So let's chat as soon as possible. Together we will navigate through the uncertainty of these times.
